As a person with a long time interest in family history & genealogy, I am building on information researched by previous generations. |
In the event I have entered a duplicate page, please know that it's only because I might have good genealogical information, and I will be glad to transfer to the page to the earliest contributor.
To any who take time to read my memorial pages, please know I appreciate your interest. To any who leave a note, you should know how very touched I am with your caring gesture. I am learning that "Cemetery searchers" are very special people and I wish all good luck in our unending quest.
"Let the record be made of the men and things of today, lest they pass out of memory tomorrow and are lost. Then perpetuate them not upon wood or stone that crumble to dust, but upon paper, chronicled in picture and in words that endure forever." – Kirkland

I should have done this earlier. I Googled it and found the address. It's at 3335 Gibson Road, Dadeville, AL.

Thanks. Some of these cemetery postings has the location if you scroll down. This one didn't and I thought you might know the street or road it is located on. Especially since you've been there. And there's 3 churches by that name in Alexander City. One is at 945 Tallapoosa St., one at 446 Meadows St., and the third one is at 2325 Dadeville Rd.

What is the address of Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Alexander City, AL?
Sorry are having a problem with the link. Sometimes F.A.G. won't load for me either.
I was thrilled to find Sam's memorial. I know this is a public message so I won't put much. My email is listed-I would love to talk to you.

No, I don't think so, although I do have a Smith line. You didn't really send me enough information to figure out who you were talking about - need some dates, place, etc. I have added many, many Smith's.

perhaps add 1 parent, save it, then come back later and add the other?
yes, sometimes some strange things happen on Find A Grave.
|James Lee||Father of John Emory Lee|
Thanks so much for the pictures of the Lee family cemetery in Randolph County. They confirm notes I have from my grandfather.
Has anyone had any luck finding the parents of John Emory Lee? My grandfather said that the father of John Emory Lee was Timothy Tapley Lee, a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He won a land grant in the 1827 land lottery.
Any clues or help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, James Lee (firstname.lastname@example.org)

I'm so sorry for my late reply. Thank you very much for your kind and generous offer. I would love to manage and watch over the Elder Britton and family memorials. If you'd like, we can also share their management. I will look for any details I can add to their memorials. Thank you again and let me know how I can help.
