Looking for Grave of Mary Frances (Fanny) Steele Ricketts, niece of Louise A. Ricketts Preslar
I am looking for information leading to the physical location of the unmarked grave of my maternal great grandmother,
Mary Frances (Fanny) Steele Ricketts, niece of Louise A. Ricketts Preslar. I know she was buried in Florence Cemetery, probably very near the grave of her aunt Louise A. Ricketts Preslar. If I can learn the final resting place of Mary Frances (Fanny) Steele Ricketts, I plan to install a monument.

Alice Baine Levinson
My great great grandmother Alice Baine Levinson, was put in the wrong cemetery (I mixed it up). Now that I have found her in the Odd Fellow's cemetery in Georgetown, Williamson, Texas, I fixed the monument and I put her husband, Herman, there, too.

I would like you to somehow combine the two for her... Or at least, delete Alice as her own sibling x two! That was 10 years ago. Hope ypu can help. Thanks!

Mary Lillian Gray
Hi John

I got your message about Mary Lillian Gray. I had intended to make a note on her memorial and connect the two memorials. I was waiting for the cemetery caretaker to get back to me but she hasn't had a chance yet. Your note has reminded me to do all that. :) The plot information is listed though.

In this case, they aren't duplicate memorials. It's kind of interesting. I was wondering how Lillian Gray was connected to the Aderholts exactly. I started looking into her more and found her husband and parents. Then I found her other gravesite. I contacted the Taylor City Cemetery caretaker, who double checked with the courthouse city hall. Lillian Gray is actually listed as being buried in both spots.

The caretaker was going to try to find out which gravesite actually contained a burial. Her tombstone is on the gravesite next to her husband. If she's actually buried there, and if the gravesite in the Aderholt plot is empty, then it could be a recording error, and could be noted that the plot is owned by Lillian Gray.

I'll let you know what I find out. :)

Kind regards,

RE: Matilda Montgomery
Thanks, John. I suspected that someone put her in the same cemetery in Cherokee that her husband J.J. is in....I sure appreciate the information. I'll see what I can do to get the two sites merged or whatever they do with them.
