Bio and Links
Bio Photo Family research has been a part of my life for over 30 years. I do volunteer work at the LDS Family History Center located in my neighborhood even though I am not Mormon. I call myself the gentile librarian. I live on the west side of Houston in Katy. I was born in Waco, Texas and go there every few months to be with family. Many of my family members are buried in the Robinson Cemetery south of Waco going back to my great-great-grandmother. Growing up in Robinson, a farming community at the time, was a wonderful experience.

At the age of fifteen my parents and I moved to Texarkana, Texas. I completed high school and junior college in Texarkana. While attending UT my parents moved back to Robinson. I did six months of active duty in the Marine Corps and five and a half years in the reserve program. After completing the six months active duty, I moved to Houston, TX to seek my fortune. I would have to say my wife, children and grandchildren are my fortune. I am happily married and retired and have eight grandchildren which add joy to my life. If you think I can help you, feel free to contact me.

If you have any corrections or additions to a memorial, please let me know. If you would like for me to transfer a memorial, please let me know.

Thank you for posting the photo of my grandfather's headstone. The last (first and only) time I paid my respects, I was in junior high. That was a long time ago. I hope to visit Houston in the next few weeks and want to pay my respects to him. Can you tell me what section his grave site is located? Thank you for all you do!
Respectfully,
Annie

Hi Bob,
Yes, Avis Baggett (Henry's wife) is next to him at Pleasant Grove near Elgin. Thank you for the correction and for all your efforts! Jane Baggett Switzer

Hey Bob, there is a photo request for this lady but I have not been able to find her marker. However, in researching on Ancestry I did find a lot of family history that I would like to add as bio. Could you transfer management to me. I am still looking for her husband's grave. In 1880 she is living with her brother after his wife died. I found a two line obit but it just gave cause of death and burial in Mulberry. Appreciate your help. Hope your summer has been cooler than ours.

RE: Photo of grave marker (Coy Kitchen)
You are very welcome. I've had the photo for several years but never checked the names on it versus the memorials in Glendale. Your request sparked me to do it, finally. Thanks for the nudge I needed to get it done. By the way, that section of Glendale (083-E) only has the communal monument and one other headstone, one for Dorothy Millican. She is also listed on the communal monument and it looks like her headstone may have been added at a later date.
