Bio Photo Hello, I live in rural northeast South Dakota.
As I was researching my own family tree, I realized that there are so many people who are forgotten. I also realized that Find A Grave was a way for friends and family to reconnect on some level. Time goes by and families are spread apart across the country as well as the globe now, so a virtual cemetery can help keep loved ones close.
I'm glad to help in any way I can.

THOMPSON Family Plains of Memory
I have information to add to the memorials you put up on the Phillip and Nancy CUFFE THOMPSON Family in Plains of Memory Cemetery near New Effington.
The first addition is to the memorial for Alice KLUCK. She was a daughter of Phillip and Nancy THOMPSON. Sh7e was born on April 10, 1951 and died in February, 1977. She was married to Roger KLUCK on July 11, 1970 in St. John's Catholic Church in Rosholt. Roger and Alice had small children when she passed.
The second addition is David O. THOMPSON, infant son of Phillip and Nancy. He was born and died in 1949. They had another infant son that passed but he is not in the cemetery so might have been an early miscarriage.
Yes, I did know the THOMPSON Family. After Phillip passed Nancy moved her family of five children to Rosholt and began teaching school there. She finished her career as an elementary teacher in the Rosholt School System.
Thanks for making these changes and connecting the parents with their children. All that you do for Find-A-Grave is much appreciated!

I have a relative burried at Sisseton Cemetery, old section.
The name might be St. Peter's Cemetery. Her name is Augusta Swenson Eggers and she should be burried on Block 17, lot 3, grave 5.
If you are near this cemetery and could be bothered to take a picture I would be grateful.

Andrew T. Aadland - FAG # 94471507
I just realized that when you did the transfer for me to maintain Andrew T. Aadland - Find A Grave # 94471507, you transferred the wrong Andrew. You transferred Andrew J. Aadland at the Ferkingstad Cemetery.

I need Andrew T. Aadland who was married to Louisa D. Kirkeleit - Find A Grave # 94471532 to be transferred to my name.

Thank you for your help in this.

RE: Edwin and Arthur Remmen's sister
Hi Mary, I received a copy of Tora's obituary published in Sisseton and it said that she was buried at the same cemetery as her brothers (Ferkingstad in Roberts County). I don't know whether anyone has a list of interments there.

Hi Mary, thanks so much! I just called the Sisseton library to see if they could locate an obituary for her (also for her brothers). Hopefully that would tell where she was buried. There isn't much information on Tora on (it may have pulled up results from my tree). Thanks again! Gale
