I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My birth mother was Helen Ann Grace Kish, and birth father was Acisclo Striker Y Perez. A few days after my birth, I was given away to a couple who were friends with Helen and Acisclo. As I was growing up I can recall my birth mother visiting the person she gave me to, whom I believed to be my natural mother. Helen would come visit us with her other children, and while the ladies chatted, all the children would play together.|
About age 7, I was told by my birth mother that I was her daughter. As a result, the people who were raising me never let her see me again. After the death of the mother who raised me I set out to find information about my birth parents and my other siblings, wanting to know more about my heritage. This quest has turned into an obsession for me, as I continued to search for my ancestry and where I came from. My search started in 1989 and is still going strong.

Debra, we were in Knowlton yesterday. we couldn't find a marker for Cecilia but the old part of this cemetary is very overgrown and the stones are worn. We did find a large family marker with Freese on it. If you would like me to add it, just let me know.

Debra, I guess you figured no one up this way would ever fulfill your photo request but here I am doing it for you. The name Raub threw me off because when I wrote it on my paper, I never wrote Raup down so I was looking for Raub. Because of that mistake, I believe I may have missed your other requested tombstone. Also, I believe I did come across a Raub but it did not match your names. When I reread your request, that's when I noticed my error and was able to find John & Sarah Raup. Of interest to you Debra, is a set of names on the side of the tombstone that I posted. These could be people you do not know about and may want to post a memorial to them. The names as inscribed are Charles M. Raup 1867-1930---Bessie His Wife 1869-1917. Because of bad legs I can't get around much, so if I try to find your other request, it may take awhile. Glad to have been of help to you. Sincerely, Robert Miller

|Joan of VA||Fieta Fehr Raub|
Just got a message from a lady who is wondering if Fieta Raub, wifeof Peter Raub is buried in the correct cemetery.
She says there are two St. John's Cemeteries; St John's Church Cem.on Ferry St or the St John's Lutheran Williams Twp., Northampton, Co PA.
Since you added the Tombstone for Fieta Raub, do you remember which cemetery is correct.
I'll changeit , if I am wrong

You're welcome. Didn't know it was Winfield until I saw that his middle name was Scott and the dates matched. That's when I realized they didn't put his first name on his marker. Oh well...we found him anyway, that is what is important. Have a good day.

I've been through this cemetery four times and have not come acroos any Jacoby's. Also went through Vaughn's Cemetery in Mehoopany and didn't see any there either.

It's unlikely that Ulrich Scheetz is buried with his wife given that he died in Upper Milford Twp (which is not close to Apple's Cemetery). I'm not aware that anyone has found where Ulrich is buried.
Likewise, I've never seen anything to indicate when William Scheetz died although it's more likely that he might be buried in an unmarked grave in Apple's Cemetery. There's definitely no tombstone for him in this cemetery.

You are quite welcome. There were 8 other Raub headstones, plus 3 Raub family markers in Chalmers Cemetery as well, so I posted pics of all of them. I wasn't sure if you noticed or not, so I thought I'd let you know.
