Find-a-Grave is both a memorial site and a reference tool for families exploring their genealogy. After initially adding my extended family members, I became interested in helping others locate their relatives as well.

In adding memorials I research family connections and add links if appropriate. My photos include not only close ups of the marker but also a wider view in order to provide a perspective on where the grave is located in relation to the surroundings. Often, markers are situated on extended family plots which include multiple generations and different surnames. The wide angle photos also hopefully help if one is physically looking for a grave.
