Birth Date Question
Pennsylvania Death Certificate:

Mrs Della Ritenour
[Mrs Della Coffman]
Gender: Female
Race: White
Age: 52
Birth Date: 13 Sep 1880
Birth Place: Fayette County, Pennsylvania
Death Date: 11 May 1933
Death Place: Hempfield, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, USA

The birth date on the certificate agrees with the birth year and month listed on the 1900 census for Saltlick Township in Fayette County. (Note that her age of 23 in the 1900 census conflicts with the listed birth year.) The 1880 birth year is also consistent with her age as listed in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 censuses. The 1888 date on the headstone can not be correct. It would mean that she was 8 years old when she was married in 1896 as specified by the 1900 census.

I saw you added a page for my grandmother, Katherine S. Gardner (Mt. Pleasant Cemetery). Could you please transfer it to me?
