George G. Walker
Thank you for taking the photo of George G. Walker's stone. I know that some of my Walker ancestors came from Pennsylvania, but I don't know exactly where from. There is a possiblity that George is related to me, but I'll have to do some more "digging" to get proof of it. Thank you again. Pat

If you wouldn't mind, could you please remove the photos from this memorial? The photos you posted are of Jacob Bowman the Grandfather & Civil War Vet (Memorial #79814317). This memorial is for the infant grandson Jacob Bowman.

RE: Grace Stern
Aww- well thank you. My family all served back to the French & Indian War, all from PA. I had 23 direct ancestors fight in the Revolution but only a couple settled in Somerset County (Woy, Hauger, Knepper). But we fought in every conflict since from Somerset County. Even two of my sons that lived at the time in Davidsville served in the PA Army National Guard.

Thank you again!

RE: Grace Stern
Well, you've been a BIG help. With going back active duty plus being transferred from the Friedens Armory back to Johnstown, I just can't get around the Somerset area like I used to which is sad, because that's where all my family is buried.

Keep up the good work!!
