I am a single mother with a 26-year old son. I have retired from the US Government after 37+ years.

I really got interesting in tracing my family roots when my son had a school project. I was pretty much hooked from then on. I grew up knowing 3 of my Great Grandparents. I am just sorry I was not interested while they were still here to talk to me. My grandmother passed away July 2007 at the age of 103. In the last few months of her life I actually talked to her about relatives. Just peaked my interest more.

I consider myself a real novice but I am an obsessive person who needs documentation if at all possible. That is how I found this website and have been very thankful for all of the wonderful people who have fulfilled my requests and also shared some tips.

Now I see what you mean. It's saying where her parents were born and raised. Changing that now. ;-)

Re: Lilian Driskell
Hi! I changed her date of death, but her obit also states she was born and raised in New York City.

Cornelia Ann Tallman Ladd

I don't believe this Cornelia Ann Tallman Ladd is the daughter of John C Tallman. Cornelia was born one year prior to her parents marriage.

RE: William Gardner at Osage City Cemetery, Kansas
I checked his plot location and did not find a marker for him. There was a family marker and many family memeber markers. I have posted the Gardner family marker which shows other Gardners and some unmarked plots, one of which is probably William.

Monsignor Marvin G. Doerfler
I added the obituary for Monsignor Doerfler that you sent me over 3 weeks ago. Sorry it took so long; it appears to have gotten lost in the multitude of emails we receive.

Della Lewis

Are you related to the Lewis'? If not, would you mind transferring management to me. Dell was my aunt and I would like to try to combine all the Lewises together. Thanks.

Cheryl Henry,
Myrtle Julian's granddaughter

Cora Booth

I posted Cora's stone two weeks ago. Did you want something other than what is posted? I am still trying to find George King--as soon as find his stone, I will get it posted as well. Cheryl Henry
