Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been enjoying genealogy for the past few years but have always been interested in visiting cemetaries. When reading of "Find a Grave" in the newspaper one day, I checked it out and have been entering names of my family and people that I know ever since. I have also been transcribing names from other cemeteries that I am familiar with. Should anyone wish to add information on any of these, please send it to me and I'll be glad to put it there for you. Remember, if our family roots are not cared for they will wither and die. "I saw behind me those who had gone on before me an those who are to come. I looked back and saw my father, and all our fathers, and in front I see my son, and the sons upon sons beyond. And their eyes were my eyes." Richard Llewellyn

Betty Anne Greene Spear
Looking to contact Betty Anne Greene Spear. My grandfather, Robert F. Henry, married my grandmother, Mable C. Fishburn Root, in 1938. This was a second marriage for both. Robert Franklin Henry's first wife was Loereatha E. Shepard. Mable C. Fishburn's first husband was Charles Earl Root.Mable had three sons with Charles: Charles, Kenneth, (both of these sons changed their last names from Root to Henry) and Robert Paul Root, my father. He kept his last name "Root" Are you related to me?

Live Oak Cemetery Photographs
Betty Anne,

Is there a chance you can take new photos of the two tombstones and the family marker for William Paul Fullbright and his first wife, Irene Grace (Greene) Fullbright in the Live Oak Cemetery, Live Oak, Suwannee County, FL?

Your 2004 photos are quite small and hard to read. Cameras have improved so much in the past 12 years, that I thought you might want to replace your photos with new ones that now can be larger and much clearer.

Also, since you already have the maximum number of photos on their memorials, you will have to actually remove the old ones and replace them with the new photos.

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. I live in Texas and have no way to go to this cemetery.

RE: Hagan
Hi. I don't know if you remember our conversations or not. I have been off here for quite some time as we have had several deaths in our family in the last four years, and almost lost our special needs child in this time frame. I have had a very hectic life since (as I know we all do).
Anyway, I don't remember if I replied to any of your messages that I think I'm just seeing for the first time. I do know the Metts Cemetery is a family cemetery. The photo I was requesting is of my birth mother who is in that bloodline.
Can you refresh my memory as to whether or not I answered all your messages? Lol. I'm sorry that I'm just now getting to these. Thank you for all your help.

I have submitted an edit for a memorial that you manage and have not seen the update. Is there anything I can help with?

wrong birth date
I am Mildred Pridemore McDavid's daughter, Brenda. My mother was born on Jan. 23, 1916. You have it listed as Jan. 25, 1916. Would you please change it.

RE: Hagan
Ok, I have to seriously apologize. I don't know how I didnt' ever get your messages. Or if I did and replied I don't remember. I have a special needs child we are in the process of adopting who was in a coma in 2012 and almost died and our life has been one ball of chaos after another ever since. Things are settling down some so I'm trying to get back into the swing of this, lol.
Can you refresh my memory on what page we were discussing, if you still remember?

Hi - I went to put a headstone photo on this gentlemen's grave, there are none, and you have too many photos on there for me to add the stone. Would you consider sponsoring the memorial since you were great friends?

RE: Marion Fugate
OK I see where someone else posted that there are rules about this. The other posting for Marion has a better picture and more complete info. so I went with that, but whoever entered the incorrect info first, never deletes. Interesting rule. Im gonna stick with the woman who got it right, even if she got there late.
