I was born and raised in central Wisconsin and have been researching my family's history since the early 1990s, focusing on surnames Wachter, Zimmel, Wagner, Bein, Oberbeck, Ott, Bartelt, Dix, Uber, and Behling.|
When suggesting corrections or additions, unless my mistake is obvious like a misspelled name or an incorrectly transcribed date, please use the "Suggest any other correction or addition" link and explain the source of your information. I don't have time to try to prove maiden names, names of parents, or locations of birth or death so please provide a link to an on-line obituary or vital record.
Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hewitt is now 100% photographed. I started researching the founding families of my church, Immanuel Lutheran in Hewitt, in 1997. I have access to parish records and some cemetery records, and have a collection of obituaries. Prominent names include Federwitz, Ohm, Schroeder, Weichelt, Boehning, Wundrow, and Wunrow. Some of my research has been posted on the Find A Grave Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery page.
I will consider memorial transfers under Find A Grave guidelines. Please read How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me? I'm happy to make exceptions to the "four generation rule" for those who provide a reasonable explanation with their request. Please use the "Suggest a correction" feature under the edit tab on the memorial in question to request transfers.
Finally, thank you to all who post the obituaries I send though SAC and thank you to those who send obituaries for me to post. I hope something I have contributed will help someone find that missing piece of information.

Again, thanks so much for your time and effort in getting the picture for me. I have a lot of family in that area, but my grand father moved to Iowa in the early 1900's so we are not real close to the remaining families in WI.

Thanks so much for the time and effort in taking the great picture of Frederick and Bertha's stone. Frederick was my great-grandfather's brother. He enlisted in Company I of the First Wisconsin Cavalry during the Civil War and spent 2 years 8 month on the Union side.
Thanks again for everything.
|Linda Hahn-Weidman||Tina Durst|
Thank you for adding her obituary. Tina was a wonderful person and her death was a great loss.
Jenni, Thanks for the transfers of the 2 memorials. It wasn't necessary but I do appreciate it. Hope you didn't mind the linking and updating I did. They are part of my family and I had the data. Thank you for creating the memorials. I did not have burial data so really appreciated finding the memorials.

|Janet Marie||Olive B. Evans Payne # 136204034|
The updates you suggested have been made. Based on the information you provided, I found Olive's parents and linked her to them. I also updated her maiden name and some of the birth/death information.
Please look over Olive's memorial to see if I missed anything. If you or your daughter-in-law have any other information to add, please let me know.
Thank you for providing the additional information. It is appreciated.
|John Uhlman||Paul and Irma Freuhauf|
I added the notice you send me from Irma. I see from the flower you are related. I am related as well, through Paul's mother Emilie. Do you have any picture of Paul and Irma? Also, do you know where Gerald is buried? Thanks!
