I hate writing a profile for myself, I never know what to write.
I'm a mom of 4, grandmother of 8 (7 living). Stop by and visit Jennifer Lee Branch, in the Family vitural cemetery. I've been married to same man for way too long...he's the love of my life, confidant, and best friend.
I've been working on the family history for 15 years. On mother's side the roots run deep in Moore Co, NC, beginning with the first known settlers in 1745. On her side, we also have an ancestor from New England with a rich family history. Dad's side is early VA, with some stops in SC and AL, landing in MS.
Besides family history, I'm active with church (Presbyterian), watching 4 of the grand's when out of school, long distance bike riding, UDC Camp Ryan Chapter #536, belong to various local clubs, and passionate about quilting.
I make reproduction quilts, and name them after my ancestress'. Normally not much information is known about the women from days gone by, this is my way of honoring their life. I'm a tradionalist in quilting...only cotton fabrics, and hand stitched - that's why I've only finished 4 so far for the ancestors (but have made for other people).
NOTE: If there is a person you would like transfered, WITHIN the guidelines of Find A Grave, it's yours. All others I will glady update and add info sent. I'm still working on putting all the pictures up and providing further info on individuals, it's just taking a while. As I don't walk on water (and don't really want to), I do make errors, send a SAC, and I'll get it corrected ASAP. | |
