I am more than happy to make additions and/or corrections to memorials. Please use the edit key rather than leaving a public message. If you are a relative and would like to have a memorial transferred to you, please submit that request through the edit key as well. Please state how you are related. Transfer requests outside of Find A Grave guidelines will be considered on an individual basis.
When I take photos at cemeteries, I like to take a wide shot if possible to include other family members. I usually create a caption for the photo saying who is in the photo. To see the caption, just double click on the photo.
I am granting permission to use any photos that I have taken for any non-commercial use. It would be appreciated if you would acknowledge that the photo came from me. Please feel free to use them on family trees and other websites.
There are some contributors who create memorials for individuals and list them as "burial unknown". They wait for photo volunteers like me to find these individuals and create memorials for them in the correct cemetery. Then after the individual is found, the contributor sends a request to remove the "duplicate" record. It's pretty unscrupulous, but it's done. Please, don't do this to Find A Grave contributors who work hard walking local cemeteries and taking countless photos.
If I happen to find one of the people you have been looking for, please send me a thank you through the edit key, remove your memorial, and request a transfer. I will be more than happy to honor your request. I might even be willing to move my photos over to your memorial and delete mine under certain circumstances.
If there are duplicate records in a cemetery, a request will be sent to Find A Grave to merge the memorials. All the information, photos, etc. will be preserved. Find A Grave will decide which memorial to keep, which usually is the memorial that was created first in the correct cemetery. This usually takes about 1-2 weeks.
I enjoy photographing entire cemeteries, creating new memorials, and adding photos to existing memorials. I try to do a quick search to see if I can document family relationships. Before I go on to the next cemetery, I try to make sure that duplicate memorials have been removed and all memorials are actually in the correct cemetery (when possible).
Listed below are the cemeteries I have completed so far by county. The first year listed is the year I photographed the entire cemetery. The second year, if listed, is the year I last walked through the entire cemetery again looking for updates.

Page family in Weiser Cemetery Thanks Janet for the great photographs. Can you read what it says on Christian Page Sr. and Christian Page Jr.'s stones? I see you created a page for F. William Page even though he already has one. His number is 20379775. Thanks for all your hard work for find a grave and all of us who are looking for our beloved ancestors! I appreciate all your help.
Dreger family Thank you for the various updates to the Dreger family. They were sent to me by a cousin's wife who lives right in the Budsin neighborhood. And thanks also for the continuing work in the many cemeteries in your area.
Shields Cemetery (Sell cem.) I just completed Shields Cemetery and there are three stones that are beyond recognition. I found out one name from L.L. Ketchum but need more info. Have you ever bought transcripts from Wisconsin State Genealogical Society? What other options do I have? Thanks, Janet! - Marty
#78853399 Hi Janet, I added a photo to this memorial that shows the dates a little clearer. I took it a couple of years ago when I was going to photograph that cemetery and all my batteries were dead so I only got a few photos- none who were related to me. I can delete it if you prefer.
