My husband and I have been researching our families for over ten years. Most of this was done the old fashioned way by visiting archives, libraries, courthouses, elderly relatives etc. When we began there was nothing available on the internet, not even census records.

The way we did it was great fun. But now it is much easier. There is so much on the internet --definitely not everything-- but a lot. Since discovering Find-a-Grave, I was able to locate a couple of people in my own line that I had not previously managed to find. Now I want to help others by being involved in the project of Find-a-Grave.

I try to take good pictures but sometimes because of the conditions, etc. they do not come out as I would like. If anyone gets a better picture than I have put up, just let me know and I will remove mine.

RE: Louisa Lambert
For some reason when I use the app it doubles or triples my photos. I will remove the additional photos.

Thanks

You have a tombstone picture on Armaizet Troxclair Waguespack that I would like to use in my genealogy program. She is related to my husband.
Thanks for all the work that you do.

Albert Stansbury Jr and Florestine Feray
One of their children was left out of the writeup. Their youngest son, Martin Fulton Stansbury was born on July 24, 1890 in Vermilion Parish. Martin died on June 24. 1957. Martin was my grandfather. He was married to Evelline Guidry and had three children: Mary Melva Maisie Stansbury, McCoy Stansbury, and Mack Fulton Stansbury.

Hi Louise,

Would you mind correcting the first name of my great grandmother? It does not match the photo.

Thanks
