Retired in 2008 I began compiling our family history on Ancestry.com which led me to Find A Grave - and even more relatives.|
I'm a first-generation American who spent much of my first 10 years in Canada. Mum was 100% Irish, a first-generation Canadian in Montreal with parents from Derry City.
Dad was 50% Irish, 25% Scottish and 25% English, a third generation Canadian born outside Toronto whose maternal line arrived from Co Longford in 1824 and paternal line from Co Derry in 1836.
I am only managing records that have some connection to our family but if you wish to take over a memorial of your family member, please do not hesitate to contact me through the message board.

I wondered if you might be interested in the article published in the Everett Herald about the Swawell home that was built in 1892? I'm not sure how to send it to you, so if you could email me, I might be able to get it to you.
my email is email@example.com

She is the only Gouin listed at that cemetery "Nellie GOUIN / died Oct. 30,1923 / aged 57 years" - this particular book is strictly a transcription of stones, no unmarked graves included. John F. (Frank) GOUIN d: 1898 is listed in St. James cemetery, don't think St.B. Cathedral is included in the database I'm currently working on ... only other Gouin is a Joseph Treffle (1886-1949) in MGS cemetery #277 (not sure which one that is, have to check list on Manitoba Genealogy website).

yes please do use the photo on ancestry, I know that photos make a record much more interesting.
Have a Happy New Year,
Hi Fay, thank you for your kind words and yes, you may use my photos with credit as specified in my profile. I have switched a couple views in Pleasant Hill. That was a blistering hot day and my photos could of been better. I have also provided a better photo of "infant" Harvey for you, I assume you want that one too. Let me know if you want originals. C.

I uploaded a photo of the front and back of the headstone. The image of the front will have to be retaken in the spring.
I also added the GPS location.

You're welcome Fay.
By the way there is duplicate cemetery for St. Paul's Old Burying Ground here:
St-Paul's Presbyterian Church Cemetery
(it has an incorrect photo of the cemetery though - it shows Ormstown Union Cemetery)
Photos (on request) and notes for St-Paul's Presbyterian Church Cemetery also available here:
