We have noticed that some people load photographs on Find-A-Grave and post a message saying they are not to be used without permission. PLEASE use the photos we submit if you'd like! That's why we put them on here!! |
This whole thing got started with her making a comment that she knew nothing about her family. It has now gotten TOTALLY out of hand!! We have now surveyed every accessable cemetery in Harrison and Mercer County, Missouri and researched those that are not accessable. Now we're starting to photograph them. We have submitted the surveys and photographs to the county GenWeb sites.
We enjoy tracing the "roots" and various limbs of our family trees, and are often surprised at the nuts that fall out! She seems to be related to EVERYONE. Him...not so much. We also enjoy helping others in their search! So if you have connections in either of these counties and have requests for cemetery photographs or obituaries, please let us know. We're not professionals, but we're not too bad at it!!
If we "manage" a memorial you are interested in or are related to, we'd be more than happy to transfer it to you! The exception would be if it were one of our own close relatives, then we'll probably decline the request.

Thank you for walking the cemetery in search of a stone for Betty. One may not have been placed. I do appreciate your efforts. Thanks, Louise

Phil & Kathi,
Thank you for posting the pic of John's stone. I do most appreciate your doing this. Not sure why I did not also ask that it be added to his wife's memorial also. When you have time would you please post to her memorial - Pheobe Holloway #20366441. Thank you kindly. Louise
THX for the information on William. All very likely conclusions.

FYI......I reported your search results to the memorial owner for review/investigation. It's always possible that the grave is un-marked.

Thank you so much for the photo. I truly appreciate your help.
Thank you for posting the photo of William Rusk's headstone
Thank you so much for the photo. In researching my family I found these two. They lived for some time, and died, in Roswell, New Mexico. I live in southern New Mexico, just a couple of hours from Roswell and, had I known they were there, I could have gotten in touch with them and compared notes. Again, thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Thank you for posting the picture of David and Lydia. This information helps me to confirm the information on the stone.
