We would be glad to help you with adding information, but |
YOU NEED TO USE THE EDIT TAB.
Due to the number of emails that we receive, we reserve the right to not respond to those who do not USE THE EDIT TAB per FAG guidelines. We do not add information from "Visitors" to FAG.
Per FAG policy, we have 30 days to make a correction/addition. Apparently the edits are not always linked with an email, but sit in the FAG edit file awaiting discovery. We try very hard to take care of these requests promptly.
We are not responsible for the 'half-sibling' notes on links or repetitious links. That is a database or submitter problem. If you do not understand why, please contact FAG.
TRANSFERS & CORRECTIONS-----Please follow the Find A Grave Guidelines for transfers and corrections and specify the relationship. "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren." Please use a Virtual Cemetery to collect your non-direct ancestors or special populations.
If you feel that you are somehow 'entitled' to our copyrighted work and pictures, do not be surprised that you will be held accountable. Each and every photo on this website is the copyrighted material of the person who took the photo (some may have been passed down or have been granted permission to post/use a photo) and usually posted it. Permission is usually granted when requested. This is not about sharing. The photos and pics are in fact, shared on this site. It is about the common courtesy to those that spend time, effort and money all at their own personal expense to help preserve American history.
We have met many wonderful people through FAG. Unfortunately, there have been a number of individuals who have been rude, who have not understood that we are volunteers, who have been otherwise abusive or who have been frankly bizarre and/or threatening. To that end, we will follow the FAG guidelines. It is about the hunt, not the numbers. But dealing with some of the FAG members and interlopers, we have learned to follow the guidelines.
Our family names/linages include:

Cathy & Thomas
I found your name on Find-a-Grave as posting a photo of my great grandfather Dolph Bradford son of John Jr. Husband to Dovie. I am interested in any additional information you may have on the Bradford line and would be happy to share what I have on Geni. I have posted the gedcom file on Ancestry as well as I was collaborating with another cousin of mine who used Geni and just stuck with it. It was free - Ha! Thanks for your consideration and for sharing.

Hi, Cathy & Thomas - Thank you so much for placing the photo on his memorial and identifying where he and his wife's final resting places are located. I appreciate your time and all you do for Find A Grave.
Sandra Bathe Cole
Thanks so much. Finding that she was married to Wesley Crabtree settles my questions about her. Sorry about the wrong #. Appreciate all you do for Find a Grave.

I didn't realize I was sending repeated messages. Sorry about the repetition.
Hi. I was hoping you could tell me what additional information is on the stone for Mary Crabtree # 2137510. The picture is not clear enough to read the stone- I believe she is one of my Grandmothers, and am hoping additional information would help. Her maiden name was Price. Thanks so much.

|Earl Pagel||I appreciate the help!|
My first Cousin 1 x removed, Phillip August Albert Pagel Obit lists a sister we are unable to locate a death for. Birth record states Lizzie, for which we find a sister Elizabeth married to Andy Hendriksen in Phillip's 17 Dec 1962 Obt, along with sibs in the Perry area. Andrews wife Mae died in 1920, and is buried with Andrew, but we believe Andrew married Elizabeth before his death, thus Elizabeth became a Hendriksen, whom we are unable to locate or find anything on. Lizzie was born in Marathon County, Wisconsin and is listed in the 1940 Perry census Lizzie married to Andrew, with a son, Billy born about 1932. If you have any idea where she may be buried we would appreciate it.
Thanks, Earl Pagel

I'm working on a volume of grave locations for veterans of Co. L, 22nd NC Infantry. Could I have your permission to use the picture you posted of Robert C. Gray's grave in this compilation? I will cite you as the source.
Thank You for taking and posting the photos of the Henricksens which are distant relatives of which I am researching a second wife I am unable to locate her whereabouts. Your efforts are of great help, Thanks,
