Earl Schweim Bio
Retired Year-Round Corporation employee Earl “Bud” Schweim, 61, of Mankato, died Wednesday, May 12, 1999, at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital in Mankato.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Burial is in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and continues one hour before services Saturday at the church. Memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society, American Heart Fund or donor’s choice.
Mr. Schweim was born Oct. 28, 1937, to Robert and Hazel (Menk) Schweim in Mankato. He graduated from Bethany High School and attended Bethany Junior College. He belonged to the National Guard. He married Joan Mathison Oct. 30, 1959, in Mankato. He was employed by Year-Round Corporation as an industrial engineer for 28 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing baseball and softball. He coached Little League Baseball.
Mr. Schweim is survived by his wife; two sons, Lane and Lee “Pete,” both of Mankato; one daughter and her husband, Lori and Mark Bode of Bloomington; one granddaughter; four brothers and their wives, Don and Carole, Ken and Renee, LeRoy and Bette and Arlee and Pam, all of Mankato; one sister and her husband, Nancy and Sid Paul of Waterloo, Iowa; and nieces and nephews.

Ella Buck Bio
Former Mankato area resident Ella Buck, 90, died Aug. 15, 2000.
Burial was in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Mankato.
Sunset Vista Funeral Home, Yuma, handled arrangements.
Mrs. Buck was born in 1910 to Alfred and Mina (Anderson) Nelson at Pelican Rapids. She had been a waitress until her retirement and had worked in the Mankato-North Mankato area. She also had been employed at Union School. She married Harry Buck.
Mrs. Buck is survived by nephews and nieces.

Harold Krueger Bio
Former Continental Can Co. employee Harold L. Krueger, 86, Mankato, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital, Mankato.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mankato, the Rev. Paul Nolting officiating. Burial is in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery.
Visitation is one hour before services Friday at the church. Mankato Mortuary is handling arrangements.
Mr. Krueger was born Feb. 17, 1914, to William and Ida (Hahn) Krueger at Gaylord. From 1949 to 1980, he was employed by Continental Can Co. in Mankato. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and IAM Union. His hobbies included traveling and playing cards.
Mr. Krueger is survived by one brother, Melvin A. of Mankato; five nephews and three nieces; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Fred was the son of Eveline M Soper and Ira M Riker. Eveline M Soper was the Daughter of Solomon Soper Jr 1791 born in VT Died in canada
1867 not in Find A Grave Her mother was either Isabell Reed or Mary Ann Ford my 4th great grand mother and Eveline was the sister or half sister to Caroline Matilda Soper Daniels my 3rd great grandmother. Eveline is possibly in find a grave as Eve M Riker #91384857 cb Rob Minter.

Hello and sorry this reply has been so long in coming. Yes I am related to the mysterious Stokkeboe family. My great grandma was Nels daughter. After the first 3 children,there were 3 more girls. Louise, Anna and Emelia. But they switched to the last name Johnson. Louise married John Anderson of Frost MN. Anna married Alfred Johnson of Bricelyn and Emelia {Mayme} married Lawerence Westerlund of Bricelyn. My grandfather was Emelias oldest, Lawerence Westerlund.{Dutch}I would love to share info and shake the family tree. Please contact me again if you are still interested. Karen
