YOU Volunteer to get the Burial Plot.
I'LL Volunteer to get the photo.
WEE talked me into this...and I've been having a great time taking headstone photos from France, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Easter Island, Saigon, Africa, Iceland, Greenland, and all over New England. Rather nice hobby, now that I am retired.
Suggestions are appreciated.
DO NOT COPY ANYONE'S PHOTOS without asking for permission!!!

Thanks, Bob, for the update. Isn't that something? I was fairly positive that the 1889 bio written in 1889, in a book was accurate, but I've had experience with cemeteries failing to record a burial. One, a minister, d. 1980's, that I knew where he was bur. but the cem. office had no record; I contacted a person I knew was there at the burial, and he knew the exact spot, in the cemetery...that's where he was found. Well, all of this to say, none of us are perfect.
I'm glad you went 'the extra mile' and found them. Find-a-Grave has some very dedicated workers, and I'd put you in that category!

Bob, thank you for trying to fulfill my photo requests for this couple. I don't know why they're not listed there...but if the cemetery says they are not, then that is all one can do.
Your work and efforts are appreciated.

Thank you for taking a picture of my Great Aunt's grave site. (http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=149790071)
I'm in Oregon, and not in a financial position to travel.

Yes of course. I'm fairly new at this and when the dialogue box came up "are you sure you want this to be public..." I wasn't sure.
Thank you again,

Thank you so very much for the time and work you put into making Anna Pierce Whitmore's memorial.
I appreciate your generous transfer of her over to me as it is truly appreciated.
You have a wonderful weekend.
Thanks much for your very nice photos of the Leonards at Holy Cross.

First of all, let me thank you for all of the photos that you place here on this web site. As a volunteer myself, I know how frustrating it is to find there is no marker. When I run across that issue, I attempt to take a photo of the spot that the person is buried, hopefully with headstone near by. I put the persons name on the area they are buried and in the caption or at the bottom of the photo I indicate that they do not have a headstone, but this is where they are buried, and what the nearest headstone(s) are. Please, I respectfully request that you either replace the photos for William, Sarah and Samuel Lyon, Memorial#s 45344649, 45344670 and 45344565, with photos of the spot where they are buried, or remove the photos and submit an edit request for plot with the information about not having a headstone, and the plot number (if known) Thank you so much for your kind attention to this matter.

Thanks so much for the photo of John V Sullivan's headstone. I would really appreciate your permission to use your photo in my ancestry tree with credit given to you. Please let me know.

I am sorry that you had to go on a wild goose chase for my family and I. I personally called Mass National Cemetery and was given the wrong information. I was told she did have memorial marker and that is why I requested memorial headstone picture. Again, I am sorry for any trouble we may have caused you.
Thank you, Glenn Massey
