I love doing genealogy. The search for our ancestors and their stories have intrigued me beyond my own imagination. I love walking the old cemeteries and then, the search that comes with them. I hope I can help another person in their research.|
Please, do not add death certificates to the memorials I have created. Sometimes, they can be hurtful to family members. Also, any pictures or information I have added, feel free to use them. It would be nice to have credit for them.

I went to the Elgin Cemetery on 06/01/2014, I looked at every tombstone and was unable to locate your requests.
I now live near that cemetery, so I will try again at a later date.

I went to the cemetery and found the area where Ms Stocking is buried, however, there is no marker. I am standing on the lot marker for lot 205 taking the photo in the direction of lot 204. There is no identified for lot 204, but the identifier for lot 203 is beyond the headstone (no one with the name Stocking) depicted. If you don't want the area photo let me know and I will delete it.

I understand your frustration, we are in the same boat.
I'm not saying he is not there, just that all my legwork came up empty.
Good luck on your genealogy research and if U come up with additional info that might pan out, let me know and I'll go check it out, just refresh my memory since I'm in my mid-60'S, Ha !.
I started looking for my ggrandparents in 1995 and 20 years later, I'm still on the search but it did pay off, I went back to North Carolina and added their ancestors to my tree.

Hi Connie, I am working on Eldorado Cemetery and may put more Galbreaths in over the next month so you will know
|Dorothy Newberry||James Edward Ferguson|
Actually his first wife was Hannah C. Low (Mother of Anna, Emma and little Hannah) James E., Hannah and Anna are on 1870 census together in Orange County TX. James E. listed as J.E. last name spelled Furguson. Wife Hanna died either during birth of Hannah or shortly thereafter. Not known where she is buried.

Don't believe her sibling is Sylvia Belle Caviness as it says?

I was interested in your listing of John Henry Knott's burial in Pioneer Rest Cemetery and wondered what your source was, if you don't mind my asking.
When I was working on Pioneer in 2004, I had listed him as a "possible" burial and put him on my Menard TxGenWeb site as "unmarked" in Pioneer with a question mark.
About 2009, a descendent contacted me and asked me to remove it, stating he would have been buried with his wife, not with the Braly family in Menard. I've been looking through my files to find whether I was given a source for their information, but haven't located anything.
Anyway....you "peaked" my curiosity, so I thought I would ask.
