Bio Photo Wanda and I enjoy getting out and walking the cemeteries, photographing the headstones, and fulfilling photo requests. If the photo we have supplied to fulfill your request is not to your liking please let us know and we will do our best to get a better one. Sometimes we might add more photos then you want on the memorial and if that is case we can delete what you don't want. We will be more than happy to make corrections, add information or transfer the memorial to you if they are a member of your family.
We have been helped in our family research many times by information on FindAGrave and hopefully others will be helped by information we have added.

When making suggested edits for memorials please give your source of information. I will not make edits based on assumptions. Thank you!

Wanda, I would like to say that what I have put up is theory based on what notes I have and study of census and other based materials.
Can I say for fact?, can I walk directly to her grave? NO! Only based on the theory and likelihood.
I noted that on the memorial. I just don't want our forebears to go down in history, without at the very least leaving a few clues to their existance. Maybe future generations will pick up the cause but until then this is how I can contribute.
Whoever wants to accept it fine and whoever does not its just as fine to me.
I am glad to have met you all, even in theory... C

We are working on the family line and it is thought that David and John's Fathers name was John. We also are working on the idea that Ewell was a brother of theirs and possibly a James Roper.
I still am studying the censuses of Ropers in Tennessee right now. It is said that Elizabeth came with David to MO when they left TN.
I don't know why she changed her mind to go with John and Nancy to Pulaski/Wright Co. MO.....

RE: David Roper
1831-32 purchases of city lots in the area of todays Springfield , MO. This is where they lived very close to the city limits, of which now is a park of which your Rebecca Roper is buried in....

David Roper and Elizabeth Roper nearest, but also not far John Roper.
Also the fact that David's first daughter was Elizabeth.
I will be glad to give you other references from Russell Pool and others notes...

Lawson and Elizabeth (Roper) Fulbright
Wanda, was wondering if you would like to accept Lawson and Elizabeth Fulbright's memorials, since they are your line.
Let me know. Thanks, Curt

Thank you very much for the information. That is very interesting about the grouping of Rocks. Look forward to your photo if you do get the chance. Thanks again.

Harold and Wanda, My GGG Grandfather was Buried in this Cemetery(West Point) back in 1863. He was killed by bushwhackers during the Chapter 11 at that time. The family buried him with Rocks as markers. Do you happen to know if anyone has a list of names that would be in the Cemetery? Thought i might do a little searching for his grave site. However with stones only as his marker it may be lost by now.
Any information is appreciated. Thank you
