I am still new to the whole genealogy thing. I have only been doing for about 15 years. I am hoping that my children will continue the search.|
My Paternal Great Grand father and Mother came from Scotland (but met in Illinois) and my Maternal Family is from Connecticut from the 1652ish. I am in the St. Louis, MO area.
I am working on the Stewart, Robertson, Sage and English Families currently.
Photography is relaxing for me...so I take photos and add them. There is cemetery that I am working on that across the street from my children's school. If you want one of my photos, that is fine, but I do want credit. I however would prefer that they are not added to Ancestry. It is more that you might credit me, but the person that acquires it from you might not.
PLEASE -Turn on your messages. You are missing out on A LOT of info that people may want to share with you.
Please remember, when you start researching a new geographic area, that those living in the area, probably know more than you, but there are some that don't. Like St. Louis City and St. Louis County are very separate, but very connected. Please look at an actual map that has city and county boarders, that is dated for that era, NOT a current map. For example, much of what is warehouses now by river, used to be housing.
Just another twig in the tree.

Thanks SOOO much for your efforts. The picture I remember seeing looked like a small gray, vertical tombstone. But because money was so tight for Mom and Dad at that time, it might have only been a temporary marker . Hard to tell in a black and white picture.
Again, thanks Kathie, for your dedication.

Kathie...I have no idea what you are talking about. It would be nice if you would reference the content of the message I allegedly sent and whose page was involved. I keep copies of all messages I send and I do not find that I sent you anything.
I am sorry but I find you rude and uncooperative.
Thanks for taking this picture for me. This is the first time I have requested a picture through the Find A Grave website. I am happy to see my request fulfilled so quickly.

Thank you so very much. Beverly Callahan was married to a cousin of a dear friend of mine. She had very fond memories of Bob and Beverly. Beverly contracted Multiple Sclerosis shortly after they were married, and Bob cared for her for the next 40 years until she passed away, and he never remarried. They never had any children.
We appreciate your time and trouble.

That's what I have, Kathie...at least I'm sure of the 5/5 part. If you have the time, I would so appreciate one more look. My mom just turned 95 on June 20th, and is in failing health. She wants to know if anyone can find her "little Eddie" before she passes. She has always regretted that his grave got left behind when we moved to Kansas.

Kathie, thanks so much for searching for O'Brien gravestone! Also, per your notice, I did correct the plot information entry. All is appreciated!
Thank you for taking the excellent tombstone photograph for George and Flora McNeill. I appreciate your kindness in doing this for a stranger.
