I live in North Mississippi, but grew up and went to school in Memphis. I'm currently doing research on 3 family trees.....my mother's side, The Bookers and my father's side, The Lees, and my late husband's, The Johnson's. It's very interesting. The cemeteries can give us much important information. All of my Mother's family is from down in Tippah County, MS. Mostly Ripley and Oxford. In my research I found that William Faulkner is a 1st cousin 1x removed. My Daddy's family is The Lee's. Found that Gen. Robt.E.Lee is my 3rd cousin 4x removed. Also Richard Henry Lee and Francis Lighfoot Lee, brothers, who both signed the Declaration of Independence are also my cousins. As is their father Thomas Lee, who was the first Govenor of Virginia.|
I'm a ballroom dancer and I love music, art, the computer and photographing cemeteries.
I'm not a professional photographer - my photographs are NOT copywritten or signed. I do not have a photography business that I'm trying to advertise on FAG. You have my permission to use any photographs that I've taken for your ancestors. I thought that was what we do this for....for YOU!

I see you may be related to father. Who are you connected to in the Williamson tree?

Thanks. I'm pretty sure he was buried at Gettysburg. I have his military records and nothing is stated except when and where he died. Eliza raised their four children on her own. All but one seem to be buried near her. Does the cemetery have a map to make it easy to find a grave if one knows the location? We found the Lot 9 marker but there were so many graves and we didn't know where to go.

I have submitted an edit to add a link to John Robert Coleman's mother, Eliza A Potter (a sister of my great, great grandfather). His father was Henry L. Porter Coleman who died 1 July 1863 in the battle of Gettysburg. I have not yet found where his father is buried or memorialized.

Oops. So, the George Dewey Miller who died in 1973 & is buried in Woodmere is actually "Dewey Miller" & not "George Dewey Miller"?

You're welcome for the photo. There appears to be a duplicate memorial for Mr. Miller listed under "Dewey Miller" Memorial #44202238. I also added photos for Helen Miller Mem. #35750345 & J.Clyde Miller #44202239 (both being buried in same Lot as George.

I don't mind at all, which ones are sideways?
|Vicki Clarkson||RE: Thomas Baugh|
I took several that day, I just haven't had time to upload them. I'll try to get that done this evening.
Let me know if there are any other local ones I can take for you!
