Finished the Grace Cemetery in McDonald, Kansas just in time for their 125th birthday. Still missing a few obituaries but someone recently found some old newspapers so I'm hoping they get them on microfilm so I can look at them.

I am now working on the St Francis Cemetery and the Bird City Cemetery. As soon as we get some warmer weather, I am going there to take more pictures.

Anyone can use my photos for the geneology research. Please credit me for the picture, but you do not need special permission.

If anyone wants any of the memorial that I have posted, just send me a message. I will be happy to transfer memorials if they are not my immediate family.

Working on my family trees since 1976.

When my brother passed away in March of 2010, I wanted to do some kind of volunteer work in his honor. Since he is buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery, I became a volunteer for that cemetery. However, I also wanted to do the photos of my family that have passed on. Since my husband and I are retired, we began stopping at many little cemeteries and taking pictures of tombstones and listing them on the web site.

Thanks to everyone for their nice responses for the pictures I take.

My apologies... I don't know if I answered you. I am just now seeing your message and went to search my inbox. I found it! I've been ill since Nov of last year and I'm very behind on things.

Thank you so very much for sending it. I am going to attach it right now to his family tree and place it in my paper records. Sorry again for the long time you had to wait for me to respond and know how much I appreciate your effort.

Marilyn - if you set up the memorials I can go in and add the photos for Emily, Fred and Helen. Use the years, as shown on the photo, for now and....Monday (my "normal date" to go to the Mausoleum) I will research Emily/Fred and Helen to see what date(s) I can get for you. IF I find more than the year I will e mail you or send an "edit" through.

When you have the memorials set up request a photo and THAT will remind me to add the photos AND give me their memorial number for additional date info.

I LOVE hearing you "found" someone.....On my pretty extensive genealogy tree....I have one paternal uncle who vanished into the air....I keep hoping that he'll show up as I do Find A Grave "work"

I will look forward to seeing your requests and doing the adding of the photo!

Marilyn I just fulfilled your request for a photo for Viola and Lester Weaver. I note there are a bunch of others in the niche and IF they are family and you wish to set up memorials...let me know and I would be more than happy to add the photo to their memorials also.

Best wishes,

Carolyn Arntson

Transfer done. Thanks for taking care of her memorial. I'm also hunkering down in anticipation of the snow. Let's hope the weather folks are wrong and we only get a few inches. Stay warm and safe. Debbie J.

RE: William E Taylor
You are welcome! I think I found an obituary for him, and sent it to the manager, who will most likely add it in a day or so.
