Willim James Edgar
Hello Jim,
My gg grandfather was George David Edgar. He was married to Annie Lou Walker. They lived in the Forney, Terrell, and Wills Point Tx areas (also, some family members lived in Farmersville Tx)
We also have family members named Jett.
Oscar Ferdinan Jett married Ida Hassie Edgar.
I am wondering if your family lineage is intertwined with mine. However, I have not located that link. If you have any information that might connect us I would appreciate hearing from you.
My paternal great grandparents are buried in the White Rose Cemetery. It is interesting that we have Edgars and Jett,s in both our families and then relatives buried in the same cemetery.
Good day,
Susan Boyett

Runge Family
Hello Jim-
I have been working on the Runge Family. My Mother's name is Margie Runge and her Father is George Runge. George Runge is Julius Runge from Germany settled in Van Zandt Texas. I have tried researching Julius's line from Germany but can not find anything. Have you researched or found anything on them (Franz Runge & Charolette Bartram). Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Lee Edgar
There are several cemeteries that use Snyder as their address. Does it specifically say Fairlawn Cemetery? He is not in the Fairlawn Cemetery Records. Is there a funeral home listed on the DC that you could contact for information? I would like to be able to help you out here with find a stone to photograph, but am at a standstill on what to do next. If he is in Fairlawn, he is most likely unmarked. That happens sometimes.

Lee Edgar
Hi Jim,
Are you sure Lee Edgar is buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Snyder, Oklahoma. He isn't on the list of burials for Kiowa County, or the list for Fairlawn Cemetery. I hunted for some time in the cemetery, but was unable to find him. There are no other Edgars in the cemetery. I notice that in the bio, it says that he lived in Davis, Oklahoma. Perhaps he is buried there.

Turner County?
This Bailey cemetery - could it be in Troup Co, GA rather than Turner Co, GA? The reason I ask this is that her husband, Alva P.ailey, is buried in the Bailey family cemetery in Troup County, and I assume they are interred together. Thanks for all you do for the cause!

RE: Reason Rainwater
Reasons Rainwaters neice Claudia May Rainwater daughter of his brother Daniel Boone Rainwater, married Arthur Franklin Prater whose son Alvin Lloyd Rainwatr Prater married Stella Lee and that is how I am related. I know I am a shirttail relative but the history of each family adds so much to the history of the WHOLE family tree. To know where you come from is almost more important than knowing where you are going.
