Bio

I am a man who loves history and in my time have seen some very old tombstones in my travels and when researching my family history. There have been some interesting finds in my time. I am a writer and poet and I plan on designing my own monument to leave my mark upon the world when I die. I have found many old markers in Texas and Iowa in the northern part of the state and Minnesota. Having an interest in the funeral industry I am always researching cemeteries. It was because of my Grandpa that I have such a love for history. Recently while visiting a cemtery in Falls County, TX I discovered about twenty tombstones that were inscribed in German. This was the first time I have ever seen any markers written in another language. As far as the future, who knows where my travels may take me. God is my guide and it certianly will be an adventure! Every one has a right to be remembered. I am a voice for those who do not have anyone to do this for them. I do not only my family and friends but I often walk local cemeteries and add information online to aid researchers in their family history research. If I have made a mistake or if you have something for me to add please get in touch with me and I will take the appropriate action. I am willing to do photo lookups in Lubbock as well as other places. Contact me if I can help. However do bear in mind that I am unable to drive but will do my best to assist in any way possible.

***** I really hate to do this, but from now on, I WILL NOT do any transfers or updates that come to me on the message board. I've had too many requests that have errors in them and this just slows everything down. Please, please please use the EDIT tabs on the memorials. This is what it was designed and set up for so please use it. Also, it has gotten to the point that I will no longer respond to transfer requests or up-date requests that are sent to me here on the Message Board or by e-mail. I will only make changes that come to me via EDIT/SUGGEST A CORRECTION. Thanks.****

Many thanks for the words of encouragement and support about my contributions on the site. It has been a godsend for me in doing my genealogy and it is my hope that my work will do for others what others work has done for me.
