Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I enjoy genealogy and getting out to cemeteries, usually locally, to document those that have come before us. If we are researching our family and see older headstones we try to clean them up so we can get the best record of them before they are lost forever.

Some of the family names in my tree are: Baker, Garber, Chambers, Commes, Johnson, Miller, Molitor, Spang, Ertle, Rowsey, Flagler, Hartung, Bluebauck, Lierly/Lierle/Lyerly, Schiltz, Dornbach, Griffin, Heflin and Dawson. Mostly located in Illinois and Wisconsin, USA.

Jonathan Barnes
Thank you so much for posting the picture for Jonathan Barnes and wife at St. Paul Evergreen Cemetery. I thought they were probably buried there. They are my third great grandparents. I also have another set of 3rd great grandparents buried there - Benjamin Crandall Pendleton and Asenath Langworthy. He also served in the war of 1812. He is called Benjamin G Pendleton on the findagrave site.

RE: Oberwise
Hi there,
Glad I could help. I actually photographed all the visible headstones in Oxbow and entered the names while I cross referenced a map I was given by the town. Could Katherine Oberwise's mother be Mary Spang 1847-1936 (#126391146)? This person is buried beside Katherine. Orginally, I had the name as Sprang as that is how it appeared on the map I was given but upon review due to your last message, I have changed it so that the spelling on the page now matches the headstone spelling. If this is the person you are looking for, I will be more than happy to transfer the page to you.

All the best with your research,
Yolande

Katherine Oberwise Edit
Hello,
Thank you for the Katherine Oberwise edit. I have added the information you provided to her bio and then I transferred her memorial page to you because you know more about her than I do. Thanks again for your contribution.

Wagner's
Hi! I was just wondering if you are related to the Wagner's in Walker Cemetery - Adams Co. Illinois. CG(Christian) and Elizabeth are my GGG grandparents and Angelina is my GG aunt through Josephine MC Wagner Roe.

RE: Lasse
Hi! Will you please add a photo request for Irene? This allows the photographers to track their work on the site for future reference.

Also, if you tell me the name of her second husband, I can look this up his name in the Catholic cemetery database that is available for their Chicago area cemeteries (when I go back to the cemetery).

It took a while to get the photos because the sun almost always seemed to be shining directly or indirectly on their monument. These photos are the best I have been able to take after several attempts (I posted the names on the other side of the monument a while back).
