Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi I'm originally from Michigan and my husband Mark is from Ohio. Our home is an interesting time during football season. Go Blue! I got bit by the "ancestry bug" about a year ago. And haven't recovered from it since. We currently reside in beautiful North Carolina.

This Is A Cemetery
Lives are commemorated - deaths are recorded-
families are reunited - memories are
made tangible - and love is undisguised.
This is a cemetery.

Communities accord respect, families
bestow reverence, historians seek information
and our heritage is thereby enriched.

Testimonies of devotion, pride and
rememberance are cast in bronze
To pay warm tribute to accomplishments and
to the life - not the death - of a loved one.
The cemetery is homeland for memorials
that are a sustaining source of comfort
to the living.

A cemetery is a history of people -
a perpetual record of yesterday and
a sanctuary of peace and quite of today.
A cemetery exists because life is worth loving
and remembering - always.

George Shepard

Hi Linda,

First, sorry for the oddly colored photos, my camera inadvertently went into sepia-mode, I think.

Secondly, about Lydia. You can see from the stone something isn't right. I've concluded that Salem Vital Records is in error and lists Robert's wife's mother, 78 year-old Lydia Marston, erroneously as Robert's wife. I've asked the manager of the F-a-G memorial to update it, to reflect the correction.

You should see three memorials in the cemetery, Robert, Lydia the elder, and younger. If this isn't clear, let me know, and I will explain further.

Osborne Family
Linda, I have been putting photos on the memorials of the people buried in Daphne Path Lot 1606 in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, MA. In addition to those you requested there are Leander and Lucinda Dean. I hope I got them all in correctly.

I wanted you to be aware that I found and added another headstone and memorials to reflect it. If you would like for me to transfer them to you just send a request.

There are no Stephens in this immediate area that I am aware of.

Hahn Rd. is east of Stephens Rd. When I am in area cemeteries taking photos for Find A Grave, I have come across several old families who have area roads named after them.

Very informative bio.

I am not familiar with the name Rock Hill Valley Farm. I will check with our local historical society and see if I can get any information on it.

I am familiar with his farm on Thorp Rd. Now I know who the rd. was named after, which is about 3 miles from our farm. Stephen's Rd., which is the next rd. from there is undoubtedly named after the Stephen's family.

Very interesting.

William Stephens
Linda: If you'd be interested in William's memorial I'd be happy to transfer it to you. If there are any others you'd be interested in please let me know. We are not related to anyone in that cemetery and if you'd like their memorials I'd sooner family have them.
