I've lived in Mississippi, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Louisiana, and traveled in many other states. I currently reside in west Texas. Genealogy research should be shared. Anyone who wants my pictures or information is welcome to it. I am grateful to those who unselfishly post their findings and pictures and share with others. |
I also appreciate the team efforts of findagrave members-those who contribute pictures, obituaries, and family links. I don't mind death certificates on my postings. Not only is this site used to perpetuate the memory of loved ones, but it is also used to help others track their ancestors. Really, what is the difference in copying information from a death certificate than just posting it?
Also, the new Edit system is great, but members, please check the requests before you blindly hit Accept. I've caught many errors in these edit requests. Please don't hyphenate last names or ask me to do so. Consider how difficult it is to search for an ancestor with a hyphenated last name.
And, do we really need copyrights on a headstone picture? How ridiculous! We need to leave our egos at the cemetery gates.

|Jerry Rodgers||Father of Homer A. Webster|
Hi Kathy, I am looking for information on my dad's father Walter G. Webster. He was married to Ruth Jane Capps. I have his grave site information and a little information on the family. I cannot find any other information on his life as to where he was born or lived during his life, or any info. on him and his parents, my great grands (don't know their names either.) I've found a little info on the Census records, but can't go any further on anything. It's like he dropped off the edge of the world. I do know he died in Memphis,Tn and lived in Blytheville, AR. My parents were Hilda Lorene White Webster and Homer A. Webster.
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and my husband's (Jerry L. Rodgers) is rbeepbeep@Yahoo.com He is on Ancestry, I'm not.
I've learned some of my 2nd cousins have run into the same problem.
If you can give me ANY kind of information, I'd appreciate it very much.
Thank you, Judith (Judy) A. Webster Rodgers
|D & K Reed||RE: Lineal L Sizemore|
This was Lewis Fred Sizemore's brother.
Lewis & Elizabeth had a son named Lineal Lewis born March 5, 1945. I asked my mother-in-law about him and she couldn't remember anything about his death. I haven't been able to locate his death or burial records, but I will persevere!
|Grave_Walker||RE: Edit request/Lillie Jennings|
Thank you for the additional information for the above. I will make the updates to her listing. Appreciate your help in adding to her information.
Received an edit request to add middle name and maiden name to Lillie Jennings; Find A Grave Memorial# 110904616.
Was wondering what your source of information is to make the change/addition to her name.
I have looked for her parents and unable to locate them. Do you know her parents names? Hoping to hear from you.

Hi Kathy Jennings Brown:
May I use the photo you provided of the stone for the above person in my Ancestry tree, my private data base and for the purpose of doing a book for a distant Yantis relative?
Thanks so much for what you and all that other volunteers do.
As a Canadian trying to find material outside of my country I depend greatly on the generosity of my volunteer community.
