I've lived in Mississippi, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Louisiana, and traveled in many other states. I currently reside in west Texas. Genealogy research should be shared. Anyone who wants my pictures or information is welcome to it. I am grateful to those who unselfishly post their findings and pictures and share with others. My work is motivated by a desire to help others. |
I also appreciate the team efforts of findagrave members-those who contribute pictures, obituaries, and family links. I don't mind death certificates on my postings. Not only is this site used to perpetuate the memory of loved ones, but it is also used to help others track their ancestors.
Also, the new Edit system is great, but members, please check the requests before you blindly hit Accept. I've caught many errors in these edit requests. And, lastly, please don't hyphenate last names. Consider how difficult that is to search for an ancestor.

I sent you the link for Richard J. Davis to Harrison Bray based on the following obit.....did you decline the link or did Find A Grave?
Richard J. Davis, sixty-eight, of Healdton, Oklahoma, passed from this life June 22, 2007, at the Healdton Hospital. He was born May 3, 1939, in Aransas Pass, Texas, to Harrison Bray and Verna Mae Davis Bray. He grew up in Healdton where he graduated high school in 1958. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Viet Nam era and retired after twenty-five years of service to his country. He married Phyllis Morris Davis in San Diego, California, May 7, 1980. He was preceded in death by his parents.

|Hooked On Family||Barnett Family|
I see you have created memorials for the Barnett family at Wolcott Cemetery, Crown Point, Essex County, New York.
I don't know if you just did part of the cemetery or if you are a relative, but I just thought I would let you know that I have sent an email for a link to another child to Jedediah and Marcia Barnett to be made.
The memorial is for H. H. Barnett who is buried in Greene, Butler County, Iowa. I also posted additional photos of gravestones for him, his wife Mary and a son Georgie.
I found a Family Tree on Ancestry.com that shows him buried in Greene County, Iowa, but that is incorrect. Greene County is where I grew up, but this is Greene, Iowa in Butler County.
If you're not related or are not really interested in the family, you may disregard this message.

On February 04 I sent an edit to add her obit to the memorial. I just wanted to make sure you had received it. If not please let me know and I will re-send it.

That might be helpful if it's not to much trouble. Thank you,

Her name is Nancy Elizabeth
James Leonard, John Franklin, and Robert Joseph are not her children. They are the children of Edward Louis Grumbles and his first wife Mary "Mollie" Price Grumbles.
|tootz||Kittie Smith # 137921904|
I'm hoping you can help me solve a puzzle. I am working on my family tree and find I am distantly related to a Kittie Smith (Smith being her married name) There is another memorial page for a Kitty Alice Pyland Smith # 111060505, birth Jan. 1861 and no death date nor place of death or burial. I am wondering now if your Kittie might be her? I have not been able to find any info on her death. Nor have I confirmed her parents names. I have found some other trees on ancestry.com that might and probably are her parents but I'm not quite convinced yet. So far by what I see in the 1910 census she was alive but in the 1920 census she must be dead as her husband is then married to a Nettie (definitely a different person than Kittie, different age than Kittie also). Can you possibly tell me where you got your info for your Kittie. I see you don't have a headstone picture so I am assuming you got your info from perhaps the cemetery records maybe??? Our Kittie's seem to be from the same area and your Kittie's death date is in the 10 year span that mine must have died. Any help you can give me would be appreciated so much. I look forward to hearing from you and thanks so much for all you do for findagrave it is a blessing for all of us researching our ancestors.

Hi Kathy, I checked, and the 1872 birth year was a typo. Corrected to 1882. Thanks for letting me know, Lynn
