We live in Central NH. Our family (and friends) graves are located primarily all over New England and we're trying to locate as many as we can in an effort to complete family history and to honor their respective memories.|
We are especially interested in the families whose ancestors were citizens of Durham, Maine. Many thanks to all the contributors who have helped us locate photos and link family members inside the memorials.
That search fostered another into the Kenneson branch of the family, with roots in Aroostook County, Maine. Happily, FAG was the vehicle for meeting a family cousin and fellow contributor, Geno42, who has very generously shared volumes of family history and some delightful photos.
Along the way, whenever we visit a cemetery for any reason, we try to take pictures and add to the memorials in the collective data base.

Thank you very much. I had a record for a soldier who died after World War II was over and his record only noted the Episcopal Cemetery in Limestone which I couldn't find .... I appreciate it very much!! :-)

Hey AuntieJ, I'm looking for an "episcopal" church cemetery in Limestone, Maine .... Is Saint Louis Episcopal or is Webster Cemetery?? .... or is there another one in the Limestone, ME area I'm unaware of .... Living in Delaware doesn't make it easy to go and look. LOL ???
Thanks My Friend,

I actually have the plot map and list of people buried in said plot, but he isn't listed as being buried in lot 279. I looked at a record from ancestry.com about a headstone from the federal government but there is no veteran stone in that plot. There is also no dedicated Civil War area in this cemetery as it wasn't established until 1870. I'll keep checking though. Also added a Larrabee virtual cemetery and you can look through it to look at the other stones I got pictures of.

Where would you like me to post them?

I'm thinking that this flat marker is buried, I had to dig a few of them out that weren't requested. I have those if you want them.

Thanks for your positive feedback, AuntieJ. You are correct - new information is being discovered every day in archives, churches, etc. and more records are being scanned and made available on databases.
