A friend referred me to Find A Grave and I am very impressed with it. I work on our family genealogy off and on, and so appreciate the help of volunteers at Find A Grave as I work on locating graves of relatives. My husband and I are glad to be able to assist others by taking photos in the Ocala area when they are requested and when we are able. When we travel, we sometimes stop at cemeteries around the country and take photos in hopes that we can add more information and photos to Find A Grave. We have been able to fulfill a few requests already and added new memorials for others. |
My husband, Bill, is a fourth generation native Floridian and I am a transplant from Kansas, though I've been in Florida since 1959.

I found your grave memorial and photo for Helen Peeling at Goshen Peeling in Richmond, Indiana.
Her dates match Helen Powell who married Clarence Peeling. They lived in Dayton, Ohio and then moved to Richmond, Indiana in the 1940s.
Do you know if Clarence Peeling is buried at the same cemetery?
Do you know if there is a way you could find out by contacting someone at the cemetery if he is buried there?
Double photos. Think we all double click sometimes. lol
I looked again at her memorial and you have added the death date, along with the article from the Deming Newspaper. I was trying to help you out with a complete death date rather than year, as the article gave her complete death date and place of death prior to burial in Hicks Cemetery. Recently, I was asked about the old Stenson home and rental properties in Deming and had to do some research on it, so I was sharing some of the information with you since I was checking out Lucinda's death and burial location since she was on the census with Mary F. Stenson and her son, Sylvester Claud Stenson, who is buried in Mountainview Cemetery in Deming.

Find A Grave Memorial# 48073739. I had posted an article from the Deming Headlight on the Edit tab for Mrs. Lucinda Goldman Hicks listing her death date. The article lists her daughter as Mrs. M.F. Stenson. Her name was Mary F. Stenson and she was married to John Stenson, who along with her sons Sylvester C. and John Stenson ran several businesses in Deming, the Deming Meat Market and the J. & S.C. Stenson Grocery. The younger John also ran a feed store. Their old businesses were on North Gold near where Burger King now stands.

Thanks for your message. I've added an internal link to her granddaughter, Kelley Lynn Warren, though I did have to do it over from scratch to work.
|Laura Goodman||Thank You|
Thank you for additional information on Kelley Warren. I appreciate the assistance.
