PLEASE READ: EDITS - USE EDIT TAB
If you would like me to make corrections, add additional information, or link relatives together, I'm happy to do this. I really like it when families are linked together. To make this simple, please use the edit tab of the memorial and include memorial numbers of all memorials involved. If you send the information like this, I'll gladly make the changes. However, if you don't send the information properly and I would have to hunt for the memorial numbers involved, I'll simply delete the message. Also, don't use the instant messaging feature for edits.
If you ask for a transfer and do not provide your number, relationship, and the memorial number, your request will be ignored. For extended family members, one thing you can do is create a virtual cemetery.

Thank you. In regards to the death date for this entry, I think I will stay with 1971 for the time being (instead of 1970) based on NC death certificate and Social Security record. The records indicate she died on 1/1/1971. Of course, the records could be off by one day and she died on 12/31/1970.

That was my initial thought--that there could possibly be two. But only one has Civil War papers and I found those along with his obituary which verifies his service. And I have many census records on him and his wife. This Calvin Lucy Evans died in 1921. The only problem I have is that neither his death certificate nor obituary clearly state where he is buried in the Cheraw/Chesterfield area. If you happen to come across any additional info, please let me know if you get a chance. Thanks.

Was looking at some Pettus research and Lancaster photographs of burial stones and ran across your name. Do you know Lindsay Pettus. A Dear friend.

Not for sure. But I do know that Isaac who died in 1916 died in the State Hospital, Columbia, and according to death certificate was the son of T.P. Sanders and Elizabeth Haile Sanders. I will check into the other two. Thanks again...
|Jim Thomas||Thomas Miles request|
My wife and I went out to Bonaventure today and took pictures of Thomas Miles' gravestone and plot. He was buried in the McWhite/ Miles plot.
There were also six other people buried there -- Pearl Harrod McWhite, Grier Collins McWhite, Harrod Grier McWhite, Jane Harrod Henderlite, Walker Price Harrod and Eva Limehouse Harrod.
I don't know if they're related to Thomas Miles, but I was going to post pictures of them on FIND A GRAVE as well. If they don't have a memorial I'll create one.
Thank you for the edits on my family's memorials.
