Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.

Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. see Find A Grave policy below:

Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

Death of Corporal David Bogert
Rich, that was a very nice way of answering the question. I am sure that "typhoid pneumonia" would have caused "inflammation of the lungs". S.R.F.

RE: Corp David Bogert - Typhoid
Thank you. But, look at the register for the Regimental Hospital I found it on ancestry when I searched Military Records: Casualties.

RE: Corp David Bogert
Thank you so much! :)

I found the register for the Regimental Hospital where Corporal David Bogert died. It said he died of "inflammation of the lungs". The soldier listed on the line above him was said to have died of typhoid. I wonder if you misread the document? It wouldn't be hard to do!

Rev. Thomas C. Pritchard
Thanks for all your hard work. You have misread the death date on Rev. Pritchard's tombstone. I have two obituaries from PA newspapers that state he died on 8 June 1910, not 6 June. His memorial # is 15768165, buried in Saint James Lutheran Church Cemtery, Greenwich Twp, Warren co NJ.

Vereline family
Thanks again, Rich. At this time I'd rather not have the information transferred to my account. In the future, I may change my mind and will let you know. Again, thank you for all you do.

Find A Grave Memorial# 40093651

Hello, I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial to me. I knew Aunt Paula. She was the wife of my Uncle Frank whose memorial I just added today. Thanks for the consideration. Diane

RE: Vereline family
Thank you so much for getting back to me. Yes, anyone with the last name of Vereline would be related to me, and therefore, I wish to thank you for doing this to help me to connect with family members. If you had not done this, I would not have some of the answers I am looking for. I am sure many other people feel this same way about what you do. So again, I thank you for all you do to help others as well as responding to me.
