I live in the North GA mountains and love it. My favorite pastime is roaming cemeteries and taking pics, not just for myself but for others.
Always excites me when it helps someone who is unable to get it themselves. Glad to help, and if you need transfers or anything, don't hesitate to ask. I'll be glad to help you any way I can. Feel free to use any of my photos, I share good!

My lines out of
Franklin County and Banks County are Kesler/Segars/Cheek/Norton. Barrow County, GA - Attaway/Peppers/Greeson/Cheek.

RE: Posssible Wood connections
Dear Pat,
I apologize for my tardiness in replying. I need to look at Find-A-Grave more often it seems. I do have information on a Dr. Deloney C. Wood (1860-1894) that may be what you are searching for. Please go to http://otihistory.com/genealogy/getperson.php?personID=I1365&tree=WL and you will see the information we have on him all the way back to our oldest known Wood ancestor, William Wood, Sr. born in the early 1700's in Virginia.
Once on his page you can hit the ancestors tab and it will give you a graphic that you can follow all the way back.
Deloney C. Wood and I are 2 x cousins 2 generations removed. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Since we are most likely related I would enjoy hearing from you and possibly adding your branch of our family tree to our web site. You may contact me at robert@otihistory.com

Best regards,
Robert

RE: Tom Brock's memorials at the Line
He said he was going to delete his duplicates that are of persons who had memorials in the other cemetery as well.. I don't think he managed any Brock memorials that were duplicates therefore I don't think he removed any. But like I said, if he removed more than the ones I contacted him individually about, I don't know about it.

RE: Tom Brock's memorials at the Line
I am not sure, I don't believe any of the Brocks he had there were duplicates, so hopefully he did not.

I submitted the request for the cemetery changes. It should be taken care of soon.

Thanks,
Jade

RE: Nancy Ramey
I agree. I'll try to submit the request to find-a-grave staff today. Should be changed within a week or so. Thanks!

RE: Peyton/Line Cemetery, Banks Co, GA
I do not live up there but used to visit my Mother in Mt Airy: she has moved to Jax and now I never visit that area. I do not know how big a problem this is but if you feel it should be named something different just suggest it to Find A Grave and they will get around to it; I am not well so I am not too concerned. Do what you think oughta be done. Merry Christmas. DLM

RE: Nancy Ramey
Ha, well it looks like we are all in the same boat of uncertainty. How about this: I will request the name to read Peyton Cemetery AKA Old Line Cemetery. It seems that Old Line is the colloquial name for it, if nothing else, and that way if someone looks at a map and sees Peyton Cemetery, they can look and see that it is Old Line, and won't create a new virtual cemetery which would be a duplicate. Does this sound about right? I'm not sure what else to do otherwise.

RE: Peyton/Line Cemetery, Banks Co, GA
At the time I visited that cemetery that confused me also as there are no Peyton's in that cemetery. But that is what the map sez. If that is not the "popular" name Find A Grave will have to change it as I cannot. DLM
