I'm located in North West Mississippi.

Duplicates: There are quite a few duplicate cemeteries and memorials being made. We are human and do realize errors happen as none of us are perfect. We ask that you PLEASE do your research before adding anything. Read the Duplicate Guidelines, Cemetery Guidelines and Memorial Guidelines first. They may answer any question(s) you have.

There is one particularly dishonest person at Find A Grave whom I've had the displeasure of being associated with. I don't know if I'm allowed to use her name here or not. I'll check on that then and add it if I can. She does not have public message board. She changes names to make it look like she added a memorial before I or other people she deals with did when we do like most people here and check to see if a memorial has been added before adding one. I check the Find A Grave site first, then check the cemetery and a name wont show up. Suddenly there is one made by this dishonest person with a number lower than the one I added a few hours earlier.

Also this same person has duplicates galore; not with just names I've added, but other people's too.

I have a Virtual Cemetery with duplicates she has posted and been contacted about and has done nothing. At this time there are 42 duplicates she has made and not corrected.

All she seems interested in is getting high numbers of memorials, showing no respect for the deceased or their families.
It is not appropriate to request a transfer and then, after receiving the transfer, delete that page and substitute it with a new memorial that you have created. This practice denies credit to the original contributor. Please use the original memorial page to make updates and add information.
If you have questions please ask or find errors please let me know and I will correct them as soon as possible. I try to do most updates, corrections, links etc within a couple of days.

WE are here to help each other and WE are all volunteers to this amazing website. So please try to be considerate when making requests, nastiness isn't becoming to anyone.

Yes, it worked, Linda. I wasn't sure if it would or not. We can both chalk this one up for our "strange" files!?
Have a good holiday weekend, what's left...

He is linked to a memorial I created in Oklahoma, as a spouse, for a child who died around the turn of the last century. I honestly don't think there is any relation to your person. Maybe one digit off on the number or something? Thought you might want to check it.

My memorial for the child is 131641267, in Proctor-Sanders Community Cemetery in Adair County, OK

Thank you!

Linda, I posted Bonnie's funeral marker on the memorial page. I will try to keep watch and take another picture when the headstone is engraved. Also I found her senior picture in the SouthSide Scrapper year book. I posted it, but will be happy to remove it as it's a little grainy. You may have an up to date photo? Hope all is well with you.

Dear Linda,

Thanks for the information on Aubrey Gail White. I added it to his Bio.

Callicott link
Thanks, Linda. The other thing I was asking about was that at the very end of Burton's obit from the Commercial Appeal, you had added a link, I think to the Tech High page, or to your virtual cemetery, but whichever it was, I accidently blanked it out. I think you can add it back as an SAC, but if you don't think so, send it to me in a message, and I'll add it manually. I don't have a hard copy, and there is no such link on Evelyne's.

I linked Burton to his mom and step-dad, which linked him to his brother, who I have learned is a fraternal twin, so I added his birthday, but I am thinking he (WILLIAM Callicott) may well have attended Tech as well, esp. since their step-dad taught there. I can't check the site: I've been on it before, but I can't seem to open it any more: have they lost their hosting, or am I just doing something wrong? Thanks again for your help.

Callicott photos
Thank you so much for adding the pics. I had seen Burton's, but not Evelyne's. I think they're terrific. Are those their yearbook photos?

Once again, I apologize for the blank messages. You know, you can erase them from your messages by clicking the "x." I would do it myself if I could. Happy hunting.
