The bio number you gave me went to a different person, 20357461, plus I tried 20357469. I do appreciate all your help, which I have been making many corrections and deletions. I got my info off of odmp.com, as far as dates go. Others helps me with burial sites or I try to see if it is listed in any other article. I do alot of research from several sources. Thanks!

Thx for the heads up!
I DO search every record before I add them so if there's a duplicate I GUARANTEE you I am not the offender. I appreciate the heads up though. Glad you're a responsible findagraver too! :)

Many thanks for linking William & Pearl Gaston to their son, William Hoyt Gaston; who is buried at Waxahachie City Cemetery in Waxahachie, Texas. A transfer is not necessary, they are very distant relations.

Your incredible contributions here at Find-a-Grave are invaluable and much appreciated. ~ George Gaston

Daryle Wayne Black - Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens

Dear Stone Searcher,

Thank you for your email of a few days back informing me of the duplicate 'Find A Grave' memorial of Daryle Wayne Black using my gravestone photo.

Initially when this individual contacted me about my memorial being a duplicate of hers, I ignored her because her memorial was non-cemetery specific, some of her dates were wrong and she had already co-opted my photo.

Although I have posted the message, "Anyone is welcome to use any gravestone photographs I have taken. No prior permission is required.", instances of this kind get under my skin. This is the second time I'm aware of someone using one of my photos in a duplicate memorial.

I had to mull this over for awhile and it boils down to "Who am I doing this for?" I'm not doing this for Ms. Fortney. And, although my own ego can swell mightily around certain topics, I'm not doing this for me either. I'm doing this for Daryle Wayne Black so that some acknowledgement of his existence here on earth will live on. So, although my ire is up, I'm going to delete my memorial without comment, contributing my photo "anonymously" [so-to-speak], to Daryle's memory.

Best Regards,

Mike Cronk
