|Alton Christie||Cornelia "Nealy" Evans Hodges|
Hi Robert, I'm researching Jackson Hodges b. abt 1857 that married Cornelia Evans in 1890 in Bullock County, Georgia. I saw your posting for Cornelia # 93961518 on findagrave. A lot of researchers on ancestry.com have Jackson H. Hodges b. 27 Dec 1848 d. 14 Apr 1921 who was the son of Lemuel & Vincey (Martin) Hodges as Cornelia's husband. I'm not sure that is correct because this Jackson Hodges married a Eugenia Granberry and they have children that overlap when Cornelia and her Jackson Hodges children were born. I have located the children of Cornelia and Jackson and have posted them on my ancestry.com Family Tree. Also the Jackson Hodges 1848-1921 is buried in Houston County, Alabama no where near Bulloch County, Georgia where they were living in the 1920 census. Let me know what you think. I'm still looking for answers.

I need to check my contributor tools more often. I did not know how the edit tab worked. Also learned why Find A Grave is showing up on my Ancestry trees a second time. I will checck with my mother-in-law and see if she knows anything about Louise Cling...on Norris, Jr as his mother. Thanks for the additions.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems there are two burial places, both with markers for the same man. Both are in different counties.
The memorial I created has him buried by his first wife. The other has him by his second wife. To put this situation to rest.
I am deleting the memorial I created in the hopes that I am not deleting the wrong one. Usually, a man is buried by his first wife.
If you hear anything otherwise, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Thank you for pointing out the duplicate (# 104084109, dated (Jan 24, 2013) to my memorial (# 53366555, dated Jun 07, 2010). Maybe this other party just didn't notice that it was already recorded. Thanks again!
