Fallen Graver

Sadly, Jean MC has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

I was exposed to genealogy & history from the time of High School. Both My Uncle Forrest, Uncle Pete & Mother were avid enthusiasts. It is just seems natural that I have continued with their research especially with the passing of both my mother and Uncles, I have picked up their research. I am lucky to have had a fair number of older cousins who have contributed a lot of information over the past 30+ years such as family stories to our family history especially about locations and where to find cemeteries that are not readily found on today's maps. With both of my digital cameras, a laptop, a portable scanner & printer, I am trying to gather all or as many of the family documents into electronic form and redistribute to many family members who do not have copies.
My family website is a collection point for all my collective research efforts and a place where family research is a primary goal of all who are members. We presently have an extensively documented family heritage for a minimum of seven generations and are working to expand all lines back to our roots of origin including documenting and proving our Cherokee & Choctaw Ancestry.
Lately, my daughter who is pictured with me, to my pleasure is willing to work with me taking pictures and traveling for research. It will be great to be able to pass on the family history.

BTW .. many of the entries I have posted ARE NOT of my direct family unless additional information is added to the memorial [some I have come across additional info and added for the benefit of other researchers]
Fulfilling Photo Requests are my pleasure especially since I am very aware of the impediment distance can make to working on family genealogy.
I do not have a problem with transfer requests but would request statement of relationship which should be within FAG guidelines.

Thanks Jean
