ECHOES OF A DISTANT PAST|
Echoes of a distant past
can be heard throughout these pages.
Each reflect a life that was lived not forgotten through the ages.
It's more than just a name or date
found on a document in a cold and drafty place.
It's a link of our past ~ tied to our future of
our lives intertwined ~ of our history interlaced.
We cannot live our future without looking at our past.
For written upon the pages of time
are stories of our forefathers that are forever will last.
What lies between the moments of our first breath
and when we perish.
Treasured memories of a life that is lived should
be recorded, shared and cherished.
Every joy and sorrow, every triumph and loss
each and every day.
Bears witness to a struggle that each of us
has to find meaning and purpose ,
To find a better way. Not for the ancestors passed on long ago, but for all the descendants to come.
Our life will never be lived in vain
if it lives on in the heart of someone.

I have come across 3 duplicate memorials that you made in the Sheridan Masonic Cemtery.
Another member made the same 3 memorials on August 16, 2010 & then you made them on March 8, 2012.

Would you kindly either have your memorials MERGED with the originals, or have yours deleted?
Hi. Scott Osborn was my Uncle. I was wondering what your relationship is/was? Thank you.
|Tritt Girl||Sarah Elizabeth Bewley|
May I please use the headstone photo of her grave that you posted? I would like to use it on my ancestry.com tree and in my personal files.
|Juliane Montgomery Burbach||Confusion on Yamhill and Polk '|
maybe post this with Willamina Cemetery and it may help clear come of the confusion, then it may add to it!
Willamina is a city in Polk and Yamhill Counties in the U.S. state of Oregon.
The Yamhill County portion of Willamina is part of the Portland–Vancouver–Beaverton, OR-WA Metropolitan Statistical Area, while the Polk County portion is part of the Salem, OR Metropolitan Statistical Area.
James C. Dixon is buried in Willamina and no picture of the cemetery shows on his memorial, could you add one of the cemetery.
Thank you so much
|Teresa Howard Robertson||Mystery Solved Today!|
The first wife of an uncle of my maternal grandmother has been a mystery to me.......until today! And in finding her roots, I have found you, surely a blood relative, I believe.
I think she would be more appropriately in your hands. I'll transfer after sending this message. She is http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=54877151.
I have known her as Winnogene C. Osborn Berry. Today I found a source that has Ora Winnogene Osborn as her name. I edited her memorial to reflect that, but it could be the name I had is the actual correct one.
