I am a retired Salvation Army officer living in Murrells Inlet, SC.|
I am orginally from Hamilton, Ohio with roots in Northeast Ohio (fathers family) and Central Kentucky (mothers family.)
I began researching my family tree around 1986 and since then have found numerous graves of ancestors in a number of places in Ohio as well as central Kentucky and Wisconsin.
I've also been fortunate to connect with living relatives that I had no clue existed and in fact found the grandchildren of my own grandfathers 2nd family whom my own mother did not know as medical issues, etc. saw the children taken from him (his wife had died while the children were very young) and adopted out.
I am pleased to be a part of this site where I can commemorate the lives of my ancestors as well as my siblings. I am one of 14 children (7 brothers, 5 sisters and 1 step sister). There are now only the 5 of my family (3 brothers, 1 sister and me) as my brother Ron passed away in June 2012.
Names I am researching are: Adams, Aebi, Brunie, Ellis, Ellwood, Fankhauser, Gfeller, Lorius, Medley, Meece, Riley, Schenk, Wyss, Yennie. However, I follow any lead that takes me out on another branch of the family tree.
Since I am a Civil War Reeanctor I am drawn to Civil War graves and not only take photos of the grave but also do basic research to find out a little of the soldier to post as well to keep his memory alive.
Also, as a Salvation Army officer I am intrigued by the graves of Salvationists, especially those in the SA section of Kensico Cemetery and the story of their lives as I am able to find it.
Please feel free to email me directly with any questions, changes, etc. on any memorials I have created. Also, if you have a relationship to a memorial I've posted and would like to take it over I would be pleased to turn it over to you.

Though I would love to claim the photo of the stone, I can not. Janice is the one. If you go back to his memorial, right under the photo is a link to Janice's Find a Grave page, you can thank her there.

Hello, in uploading photos to Carter Cemetery, I see you created a memorial for Mr. Goins. This is an exact duplicate of memorial #7491249 created by "Virginia" many years prior to yours. It is confusing with 2 memorials for the same person and I would like to suggest you merge yours with hers, as hers is the oldest.
|P Renee T||Hello|
Thank you so much for your help
|P Renee T||RE: Please Move your person to correct place|
I forgot to say
If you go in to the cemetery edit on Wanda Bruner and change cemetery she will go to the correct place of Watkins/Casteel cemetery and then I can have her fixed as ONE in the correct place. This way you don't lose her and the very good stone you have on her

My mother has her in the family tree.
Is her birth is 1952 she is my mothers age.
I don't know her in person.
Mom has her as the daughter of Lem F Bruner and Thenia Hammons and has her married to ??? Morgan

Dear Thomas, This memorial is actually a duplicate of Memorial# 6962190 created earlier and should probably be deleted. Thanks so much for your consideration. Friends, Sara

Thanks in advance..
