RE: Nichols photo
You don't think he's buried in that cemetery with his wife?

RE: Phillip William Kipp
Hi Eric,
I have moved him into a virtual cemetery along with his brother Thomas. I sent you other info under your edits. Are you related to the Bell's and Balliet families in Richland County? If so, then we are related.

RE: Edward McLaughlin
I have her as Elizabeth McLaughlin with the verification through the 1850 census. She married Hiram Sell in 1867. Her death certificate lists father McLaughlin born in Ireland. Mother with the last name Thomson, birth unknown, though I have found her in Maryland as another source says she was born there. I have been wrong before, but I am trying not to include anything that isn't verified.

We are looking at the same 1850 census I believe as there is a son Levi present.

That's why I am asking you. The census says Pennsylvania, but could he have lived there and come with his parents very young. The earliest "proof" I have is 1830 in Washington, Ohio.

Elizabeth died in 1911, so I think they would have kind of had it together by then. Why would they say Ireland if it wasn't so? I really think it's the same Elizabeth. Do you think differently? If so, why do you think so?

Edward McLaughlin
You have his birth listed as Pennsylvania. Can you tell me your source for that? I have Edward McLaughlin who married Henrietta Thomson and had a child Elizabeth who married a man named Sells. Her death certificate has her father as having been born in Ireland (mother's birthplace unknown.) Thoughts?

RE: Eleanor Griebling photo
Oh, no. There IS a marker for Baby Girl Griebling, 1960. I have a photo of the grave marker and will place it on her memorial if one is found to exist. I have access to a couple of tombstone transcripts for Lexington Cemetery, but I have never seen any actual records for that place. The records are not kept at the cemetery (I have asked), apparently they are at the Village Hall, maybe (uncertain about this). The only way I ever find graves at Lexington is a physical crawl through the place.

Margaret Stuart McClung
I received your request to reverse her middle and surname but I rejected it at this time. The stone reads MARGARET STUART, DAUGHTER OF AA & ME MCCLUNG. She was surveyed in the cemetery book with this name and two volunteer photographers confirmed this name. I'll bet you just read the first line on this old hard to read stone. I always appreciate a 2nd pair of eyes to help keep things accurate.
