Names I am researching: Medd, Poshard, White, Lods, Beaver/Bever, McKee, Riley, West, McCane, Redden, Mahan, Vail, Hedrick, Cramer, Lefforge, Mann, Logan, Amos.|
The Rush Co. Genealogical Society is in the process of transcribing & posting photos for all cemeteries in Rush County. This will be a long process, so be patient.
I will be happy to transfer memorials to a direct relative. If you want me to add links or other information, please use the "make a suggestion" option under the edit tab for the memorial. All other requests not using this format will probably be ignored.

Very strange. My edit request of 2/3/14 reflects Machlan. The gentleman who furnished the parent links must have given Mahan within his edit request. Anyway, thanks for changing it to the correct name, Linda.

Thanks for making the edits. I can certainly understand how it happened, but her maiden name is Machlan.

Thank you so much for all you work linking the various Irvine family members and adding middle names.
yes, that is a shame, that i didnt find any names in there, but i didnt take all of them out, just a few. if i end up with any more photos from your town, i'll let you know. i do mostly military photos, but i sometimes have to buy ones like this, to get the ones i want. it's kind of an all or nothing deal,... he he
cant remember where or when i got these, just typed in the name of that the navy guy who's photo i added on here, and up came a picture of his grave, so added it, and then typed in the other one with a name, and up came that one.
they are in one of those 1880's large cloth covered photo album with pages about the size of a sheet of paper. all photos are 1880's-ish.
Thank you for the transfer of my family member frank Farley at East Hill Cemetery in Rushville, IN and for your efforts in support of the Find A Grave community

i took out a few of the pictures, to see if they had any names on them, but didnt find any. i am assuming they are children of the guy i posted pictures on. could be grand children too,... they all date from the 1880's to about 1900. a few are baby pictures, some are teen age / early 20's photos, and then some middle aged people, and a few tin types, so those would be 1860-70's.
i am a photograph collector, mostly military, and somehow ended up with a large photo album, for the old card type photos, that has relatives of isaiah cowger in my archive. he died in 1891, and is in your cemetary. the rest of the cards in the album are kids, old people, women, etc. seem to run from 1870 - 1910 or so. some tin types, mostly card size, most taken in sargent photography, from rushville, indiana. if anyone is interested in it, i'd take 100 bucks for it. lots of your county's history in it. email@example.com
32 photos total, plus the album.
