Found this poem while researching through newspapers; it was published in the Rockford Journal; Rockford, Illinois; Saturday, March 2, 1872; p. 2.|
Closed are the laughing eyes,
Beneath their curtains fair,
And round a marble brow,
Soft lies the silken hair.
Stilled are the little hands,
That clasp our own no more,
And still two little feet,
That played around our door.
A little voice is hushed,
That we had learned to love,
And now its music sweet,
The angels hear above.
When first the baby come,
We asked for her God's care,
And He hath sent His love,
An answer to our prayer.
Our Father took her home,
Up to His mansion fair;
We surely could not ask,
More tender, loving care.
And yet we loved her so,
'Twas hard to have her go
To seek a fairer land,
And leave us still below.
We know she'll not return,
But in that fairer home,
The little girl we love,
Will wait for us to come.

Memorial # 126424191. Your memorial contains incorrect birth year (verified by photo of headstone that's included on memorial created a year before yours was created) - and....birth year is actually somewhat of a moot point (as far as Find a Grave) since ... this is a DUPLICATE memorial. Since yours was the later one created, I believe it's technically the one to be removed. Since your memorial has a different birth date, it looks like these are 2 different individuals who are siblings .... PLEASE delete your memorial. Thank you!
Memorial number 133154050. Myron Zaruba burial in Forest Home Cemetery. He is listed as born in Toledo Ohio. He was born Toledo, Tama County, Iowa. When you entered Toledo must of came up Ohio instead of Iowa. If you could edit this for me, thanks gskala

This person is noted as buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia, but you have him in a cemetery in Illinois.
I supposed it is possible that his body was moved at a certain point, or maybe he is just on a tombstone in that cemetery.
Why did you feel this person is buried in Illinois?
