|I am currently the president of the Logan County Genealogical Society. We are working on redoing our cemetery books that were written in the early 1980's. If you are local and might be interested in walking and recording a cemetery, please contact me.|
I am involved in several volunteer activites as well as working part time. Please forgive me if I don't thank you immediately for filling one of my requests. But know that I am very grateful for everyone that takes the time to find and photograph one of my ancestors headstones. I know the time and work involved. If I have fulfilled a request for you and you thanked me, know that I enjoying walking the cemeteries, taking the photos and knowing that I am helping someone else research their family. I will acknowledge your thanks as soon as possible as I am working an emails from several months ago.
Many of the memorials I have set up are as a result of recording the cemeteries and not because they are related to me. If I have a memorial of your family member, ask and I will transfer it as long as they are not related to my husband or myself. Again, please give me time.
I would like to give a great big Thank You to the sextons of Greenwood Cemetery-Degraff, Fairview Cemetery-West Liberty, Bellefontaine Cemetery-Bellefontaine, and all the staff at Jennings-Farley Funeral Home/Highland Memorial Gardens-West Liberty. Because of these wonderful, helpful people, I have a fun time volunteering for Find-A-Grave. They all make my search for the requested headstones very simple.
Families I am researching include: Stayrook/Wren, Allison/Easton, Dawson/Wilson (from Canada) and Lindsey/Aiken.

Thank you, Deb, for the photo on L. L. Norviel's memorial page, my great-grandparents, Lewis Leroy "Doc" NORVIEL and Stella Newman Norviel. May I have your permission to use the photo in my family tree? There are actually two headstones, the one you photographed and the one in Gays Mills, but Grandpa is buried here and Grandma Stella is buried in Gays Mills, Wisconsin.

You are very kind to offer, no relation, just saw the obit and thought you might like to have it. One never knows what might stand out in an obit so I just sent it on...

Just wanted to let you know, I am a descendent of the Broughton family in Bellefontaine. Today I added the photos of the graves of Shanon Broughton and Sarah A Broughton, my 2nd great grandparents. My husband I visited the Bellefontaine Cemetery in July 2015 so that I could do research. I am documenting the Broughton line back to John Billington on the Mayflower. It has been very exciting and fun. I have to say the best part was our visit to Bellefontaine, especially meeting John at the Bellefontaine Cemetery. He was a great help.

Could you tell me what the narrative reads on the stone? I can't make out the first few words.
Thank you for what you do.
