Hi, I'm Pam. Thanks for visiting my page. Thank you is such an easy thing to say! Wonder why so many people on this site find it hard to say thank you for the grave photos some of us provide?|
I am happy to transfer memorials of any person I'm not related to. There are memorials I have added that are waiting for family to claim them.....
Just let me know!
Feel free to use my gravestone photos, but I expect you to credit me as the photographer.
Many of my photos are being put on other sites, and the person who submits them takes the credit. That's in violation of my copyright.
PLEASE NOTE* - When I photograph grave stones, I do not disturb them in any way, nor do I clean off bird droppings or grass clippings. If you are unhappy with a particular photo, I can try to go back to get a better one if you let me know.
~~Please visit my parents: ♥♥
DAD---Gene Haag, and
MOM---Laura Mae Haag.
My friend Terry.
Our beloved dog, REBA.
Please also visit this 16 year old boy,
Charles E. Shipley. He is buried in the loneliest spot in the cemetery.
Thank you for visiting my memorials.
"Aye, thus it is, one generation comes,
Another goes, and mingles in the dust;
And thus we come and go, and come and go,
Each, for a little moment, filling up
Some little place; and thus we disappear
In quick succession; and it shall be so
Till time, in one vast perpetuity,
Be swallowed up."

|Carla||Robert and Margaret Hughes Memorial|
I was wondering if you could take more pictures of the Headstone of Margaret Hughes Memorial # 11748203? You took the picture of the one posted and it is just of the one side of the big Memorial. I believe that her husband Robert Hughes is on another side. There also might be one or two of their children on there. I am tracking Robert as I believe that he is the second oldest son of my third great grandfather.

I take it that you live in Pontiac. Heard that the Edwards did a lot in the community. Really can't believe it has been thirty-one years. As heard nothing but nice things about them. Thanks for the kind reply.

Thank you for putting up a headstone. And really think that it shows they are not forgotten.
Sadly after thirty-one years they have not caught their adopted son, who committed the murders, with an acquaintance.
Talked to someone familiar with the case and says that she talked to a detective in Pontiac as the cold case is heating up.
Says he could be dead as he led a lifestyle of drugs or imprisoned with a different name.
Thank you for putting this up there. Saw this on "America's Most Wanted!"

|Baxter B. Fite III||RE: William Swanderman, Co. H, 77th Illinois|
Thanks!! I know what you mean about time. I need to be retired!! Thanks for all you are doing. Baxter

Thanks Pam for the information about William Swanderman. I have added that info, plus a LITTLE more, to his site. Check it out if you get a chance. I believe that William may have been an uncle to Amelia Augusta "Emma" Harris, who is also buried in this cemetery with her husband, Charles W. Harris. I am guessing they have a lot of children and grandchildren buried here as well. If you come with anything else on William Swanderman and his service, please let me know. If you live in the area and ever get the chance, I would love to know if there was an obit for William in the local paper, which might tell us even more.
Thanks again for the info and THANKS FOR ALL YOU ARE DOING FOR FIND A GRAVE. IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Sincerely, Baxter

Pictures are great information for memorials. Thanks

The replacement picture from the original picture is much better to verify his dates. I have noted that you provided the information on the military service. THANK YOU!!
