My name is Debra and live in Alexandria, La. I have a grown son, Jamey, but no grandkids yet. I lost my sister, Melissa in May 2006. She would have been 39 years old in July. My family and I still celebrated her birthday. We miss her everyday! She is the reason that I started my memorials on this site and even looked for this site. Since then I have added more and have become more involved with Find A Grave site. It is so interesting to visit other interments of people that I have never met before. Reading the history of these people is fascinating and the love is so clearly shown from those that have recorded them. People from all over the world show their respects also.
I have worked with the mentally handicapped for 23 years. I am currently a manager of a community home for six male individuals. I love what I do but my guys are older men so in 2006, right after we lost our sister, Melissa, I lost two men within two months. That was a particularly hard time for me.I have added them to my memorials, they are just like family. Please visit them whenever you have a chance, Servine Hayes, Jr. and Billy Roy Pace. My appreciation goes out to everyone that has visited my site and given beautiful notes and flowers to my loved ones and to me personally. I love the fellowship and interaction from wonderful people.!
We must always remember our loved ones, they are our family, friends and closest bonds in life. This site makes sure that they will always be remembered and gives them life forever! May God bless you in whatever life has to offer you.
