Thanks for taking and posting the headstone picture. Harvey Clarke Downs served in the 2nd Texas Infantry, CSA, as a drummer. Born in 1850, he was only 11 at the beginning of the war.

Thanks very much for taking the Straub photos. You may want to check out the memorial of the father of L. Blanche Woodward Straub. He was Thomas Jefferson Woodward who is buried in the Old City Cemetery in Monroe. He was an interesting man with who was acquainted with Frank and Jesse James.
