...I am a belgian living in the Verdun area of France , I live about 10 minutes from the Romagne sous Montfaucon cemetery of Lorraine --
I just finished taking pictures in the Meuse Argonne cemetery , and will continue in Hamm luxembourg ---Once finished I intend to go to Saint Mihiel , St Avold and Belleau -to take pictures of all the markers there ... I try to do the smaller british cemeteries on my way through France and Belgium ..
Sometimes adding a complete graveyard isn t possible , as often there are headstones missing due to replacement or the stones are in very bad condition and cannot be read ---but I always try to get them done as complete as possible , so please forgive me if sometimes a few pictures are missing --because it isn t always possible to do a return journey .
Sorry to have to ask, but... ***Please don't take my photos and claim them as your own work***
Allow me to post them. and please don t add more names in the Meuse Argonne site , all the names are there-
Remember to double-click on photos to get a larger and clearer view
small contributions towards my volunteer work in Panama are allways very welcome--This is the website where you can add a few pennies
I play a barrel organ in the streets which allows me to travel each year to panama to help

Would like to please ask your permission to use one of your photos of the French Military cemetery at Glorieux near Verdun. Would like to use it as an "AFTER" picture for a "BEFORE" and "AFTER" montage.
Private Samual Slater Can I please ask permission to use your picture on my ancestry page of my great uncle. You do fabulous work taking the photos, and I can only thank you for taking his, and helping me piece together my family history. If you could be so kind to give me permission, I would truly appricated it.
Corp Walter D Ballard Memorial Thank you for all the work you are doing, and for the cemetery pictures and memorial for Corp Walter D. Ballard, so we do not forget the sacrifice so many brave people paid for our freedom from tyranny. C. Weedman
1Lt Charles Armond Minton I want to thank you for your photographs of grave markers in Meuse-Argonne Cemetery including that of 1LT Charles Armond Minton #55995144 who is my distant cousin. He was a 1909 graduate of Virginia Military Institute, a small military college located in Lexington, Virginia. I have added to the memorial a photo of the Class of 1909. General George C. Marshall who was chief of staff of the US Army during World War Two was a graduate of VMI. Some people are surprised to learn that General Marshall was a graduate of VMI and not West Point.
Charles Armond Minton was a member of the once socially prominent Minton family of New York City. Unfortunately, the Minton family has fallen into obscurity. There are a few living descendants but none who have the Minton name.
