I have been interested in genealogy all my life it seems like. Having lost one parent as a baby and having no grandparents living, it seemed a way to get closer to my folks. I loved listening to the tales the older folks told to me when I was a child and wished I had written them down. |
My kids thought it was normal to stop at graveyards as we traveled and would often point out ones we passed up. That was BC (before computers). What a difference they make. I do want to go and take pictures in my area, but the heat just want permit right now.
If I have listings that are not direct relates to me or my husband and you are more closely related than we, I will be happy to transfer them.
By clicking on my virtual cemeteries you can see surnames I am searching for.

Hi Kathy: I tried to reach you. Has your phone number/email changed? Becky
|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)

Adding those obituaries was a labor of love, and I'm glad to know someone is finding it useful. It was amazing to see how many in that cemetery were related, and how much in the town is named after people buried there.
Now can you tell me how would I know that this would have been already created? Mark did have the memorial but no cemetery buried in.
When I get out and take pictures I check the cemetery for them and if they are not listed I create a memorial.
So in my eyes this is not my fault and It appears that maybe Mark should have had her listed in that cemetery, Don't you think?
Before you shoot out orders and try to tell someone they have a duplicate you need to check all sides instead of just telling someone they created a duplicate.
I really did not create a duplicate, he had it as burial place unknown.
Nothing worse than someone trying to play findagrave police and can not and doe's not know the facts.

Of course! His wife was there and I added her and made the links for her parents as you requested. If you want the transfer, just request in Suggestion tab. Otherwise, I'll take good care of her. Sherry

|Never Forgotten||Margaret Clawson|
Kay, would you like to have Margaret Clawson's memorial transferred to you? I would be pleased to do the transfer.
|Tor Hylbom||Ida Alexander - Live Oak|
I found a memorial for Joseph Michael Howard in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, TN (Find A Grave Memorial# 124418649), but I have no idea if
this is the right person. Let me know if you would like me to transfer this memorial to you so you can make the edits yourself. This is not a
relative of mine (I just photographed the grave), so I have no way to verify any information.

I love the special picture of you and your aunt as your bio pic. You looked to be very close. Nice meeting you, Kathy! Headbonks to your sweet kitties! *hugs* -Diane

|Darrell Conway||Ebenezer Clawson|
You have Ebenezer Clawson's death date as 1881 in his memorial 58566105. Do you have any evidence of this date? I don't have anything on him past the 1860 census
|Janet Buck||RE: Clawson|
Ok thank you for your help. Well finding cousins is a bonus to being on this website, very nice to meet you Kathy! Rosa my grandmother has another sister that I have not found yet. I dearly remember Aunt Lee and Aunt Molly. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Aunt Lee so easily but Aunt Molly has proven to be a lot harder to find. I didn't know Aunt Lizzie that well she didn't come around as much as Aunt Molly and Aunt Lee. I know granny had several brothers also but I don't remember any of there names. My mom was the memory bank and we lost her in 2008.
