Vaclav and Cathrina Sramek
Hello, I visited Immaculate Conception Cemetery in rural Rawlins County, Kansas to fulfill photo requests and did find Vaclav Sramek and Cathrina Sramek gravestones but the dates don't quite match the dates on the memorials. I would be happy to e-mail these to you for you to look at but hesitate to upload them to the memorials without clarification.

Mary and Dave Ratliff
Hi Annie,
My name is Steve Knape, and Dave and Mary Ratliff are my grandparents. I would like to add some biographic material and photos to their pages. Would you be willing to turn over management of their pages to me? Thank you so much, and thanks for the work you do!

Meta Kruse Rippen (74265437)
Thank you so much for this listing! Meta was one of my great-grandmothers and all I knew of her, aside from her name, was that she died at a fairly young age. It broke my great-grandfather's heart and he became an alcoholic. My dad told me of his dad telling him after Meta died Eilert would load all the kids into a wagon and they would have to wait in it outside while he was in the bar. It's such a sad tale but despite everything those children grew up to be wonderful people.

Thank you for the photo. I needed to make sure the date on the head stone was correct.

RE: Gerald David Greider
Anne, Please excuse my delay in responding to your note. You are correct about the mother and son relationship. Nothing should be deleted. Mary Jean McCoy is the daughter of Josiah Luther McCoy and Vera R. Coulthard. It appears that research shows that Gerald David Greider's father is Harry David Greider, born in Wood County, West Virginia on 6 September 1917, and died 30 June 1999. The Ohio Divorce Index records a divorce of Harry D. Greider of Fairborn, Greene, and Jean M. Greider on 18 September 1967 after approximately 25 years of marriage. Harry D. Greider was a World War II and Korean War veteran. I apologize for any confusion I may have caused while navigating the site.

Best regards,

You're very welcome. I just wish those nice engravings showed up better. Just have to click on it to see it enlarged, I guess.
