Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy research for 30 years and this site has been a great way for me to find ancestors grave photos and I also enjoy making new monuments and taking photos for others and my own too. I have been trying to go to cemeteries all over on vacation to add more to my list. I have taken photos in Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia. I love being complete and as error free as possible, so if you have info for someone I have created a monument for, please send it to me for correction. Also, if it is your relative and you want to manage it...feel free to ask. I just love this site and want to give it my all for genealogist and just for people who want their relatives found and honored.

Please feel free to reuse any of my photos I post. Just give me credit... unlike some other members, I feel that this should be a sharing site, after all we all have the same goals (or should)... finding and sharing info on ancestors!!!

Ypsilanti
Rodney, 5 years ago I was stumbling around on the internet and I found some newsletter-type entries about early Ypsilanti history. I would like to find those again, especially about the founding of the Normal School (training school for teachers). It might have been called the County Normal School (now called Eastern Michigan University). Have you seen anything like this online, and do you have a URL you could send to me? I think some Warner kin had a hand in planning the school. Thanks for any help you send my way.

Edwin Warner
I didn't even know I had that Memorial #75521531 for Edwin Warner. I have a friend who keeps transferring memorials that she has created. Now I wonder if Edwin is a Warner from Germany, or is a descendant of Andrew Warner from England. One of these days I will do the research. Are you related to this Edwin? Generally I do not add the cause of death, but thank you anyway.

RE: Ira Glenn Frazier
I'm happy to hear from you. Like your wife I never met my birth Father. He was a scoundrel in so many ways. My Mother left him with an 18 month old son and me in her belly and came home to her parents in Youngstown.

It is through the Frazier line I have been able to trace my lineage to Scotland. And yes, we are a breed apart,(nutcases) my family has no interest in what I do. I'm the apple that never fell from the tree.

Thank you so much for helping me. I added a headstone picture for his wife Mildred.

Happy Hunting, Dianne

He is my 1st cousin 1x, I just did some research and found he was in prison as a young man for premeditated murder. I'm hoping he went on to have a good life. Thank you for sharing the photo of him.

As a volunteer myself, I always give credit on my family tree. I also agree on your viewpoint that all trees should be shared. It should not be an option. I have my family bad guys, my birth father being one of them and I have my heroes. We all do.

Nancy Jane Whitaker Howard Hurd
On her headstone it shows Andy Jack Hurd as Nancy's husband. I cannot find Andy Jack Hurd's grave site. That would be Andrew Jackson Hurd born about 1852 and died between 1909 and 1940. Location not clear, one group says he died in Magofinn Co. KY in 1909, but the 1930 census shows him still alive in Million, Madison Co.,KY, living with Nancy Jane Hurd. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Kathie Hoover

Thank you so much for helping me with a 30 year mystery. I placed the photo I own on his memorial for others to enjoy if they happen upon it. My father just so happens to be buried at this cemetery too.

Here is baseball player Edwin Wells: 52392936
